PRO-605 FINO Top PU is a premium two-component polyurethane sealer that provides a highly durable, mechanically and chemically resistant protective coating for microcement, concrete and other cement-based surfaces. The coating is non-yellowing, UV-resistant and easy to clean, making it suitable for long-lasting protection both internally and externally.
Intended Uses
PRO-605 FINO Top PU is intended as a final protective coating for use over microcement, resin and mineral floors, concrete and stone. It is designed for situations where a durable, easy-to-clean and moisture-resistant finish is required. It is suitable for both internal and external use.
Why Choose PRO-605 FINO Top PU?
- Premium two-component protective sealer
- Highly durable with strong mechanical and chemical resistance
- Non-yellowing and UV-resistant
- Easy to clean and moisture-resistant
- Suitable over microcement, concrete, stone and other cement-based surfaces
- Suitable for both internal and external use
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be stable, dry, clean and free from dust, oil, wax, grease and any other substances that may reduce adhesion. All loose layers and poorly bonded material must be removed before application. When applying over microcement, the final layer should be allowed to dry for at least 12 hours and then be thoroughly dusted before the application of PRO-604 FINO Pre Sealer and PRO-605 FINO Top PU.
Product Preparation
Before use, Component A should be thoroughly shaken. Component B should then be added to Component A in a ratio of 5:1 by weight and mixed thoroughly.
- Mix Component A and B at 5:1 by weight
- Allow the mixture to stand for 2 to 3 minutes
- Mix again before use
- Filter the mixed sealer through a paint strainer
- Use within 2 hours of mixing
Application
Apply a minimum of 2 coats using a high-quality roller suitable for PU varnishes. Apply the second coat after approximately 8 hours. If the second coat is applied after more than 24 hours, the surface should first be lightly sanded with 180-grit sandpaper. Light foot traffic in socks is possible after 24 hours, while full curing, load resistance and water resistance are achieved after 7 days.
Application Conditions
Apply only at temperatures between +10°C and +30°C. During application and drying, ensure good ventilation but protect the area from draughts that could cause the coating to dry too quickly.
