PRO-604 FINO Pre Sealer is a single-component, solvent-free primer designed for use beneath polyurethane coatings. It reduces substrate absorbency, strengthens the surface and improves adhesion, making it ideal for architectural concrete, microcement and other porous surfaces. Resistant to high pH, it penetrates deeply into the substrate to create a durable, stable base for subsequent coatings.
Intended Uses
PRO-604 FINO Pre Sealer is used for priming absorbent substrates prior to polyurethane coating. It is recommended for architectural concrete, microcement and other porous surfaces. The product is designed to promote a strong, long-lasting bond between the substrate and the topcoat.
Why Choose PRO-604 FINO Pre Sealer?
- Designed for use beneath polyurethane coatings
- Reduces substrate absorbency
- Strengthens the surface before topcoating
- Improves adhesion for a stronger long-term bond
- Suitable for architectural concrete, microcement and other porous surfaces
- Solvent-free formulation
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean and free from grease and any other substances that may reduce adhesion. All loose layers and poorly bonded material must be removed before application.
Product Preparation
PRO-604 FINO Pre Sealer is supplied ready to use and should be stirred thoroughly before application to ensure a uniform consistency. Do not dilute.
Application
Apply a thin, even coat using a brush, roller or suitable spray. For very absorbent or weak substrates, a second coat is recommended using the wet-on-wet method. Drying time is approximately 2 hours, although this may vary depending on temperature, humidity and site conditions.
Application Conditions
Apply only when the air, substrate and material temperatures are between +10°C and +30°C.
