Our professional cutting drilling tools and accessories are designed for precise work on concrete, masonry, brick, natural stone, metal, asphalt and wood. Whether you’re forming new openings, creating holes or preparing floors and vertical walls, we offer solutions that help you complete each job efficiently and safely on site.

What are cutting and drilling tools?

Cutting and drilling tools are used to cut, shape and penetrate tough materials such as reinforced concrete, brick and stone. They’re typically used to create openings, chases and fixing points, or to assist with controlled removal of sections for structural or services work.

From hand-held machines to heavy-duty, powered rigs, these tools are fitted with specialist diamond blades and drill bits to deliver cleaner cuts, better speed and reduced risk of damage to surrounding areas.

Types of cutting and drilling techniques

Different techniques are used depending on the substrate, access and finish required. Choosing the right method ensures the work is completed safely, with minimal disruption to the building and occupants.

    Diamond drilling and concrete cutting

Diamond drilling is ideal for forming accurate circular holes in concrete, mass concrete, masonry and brick. Using segments set into a rotating crown, it allows controlled penetrations for services such as pipework, cable runs and vent openings while keeping dust and vibration low.

For linear lines and openings, specialist concrete cutting equipment is used to make controlled cuts in floors, walls and slabs, helping you form door and window openings or remove sections for structural alterations.

Floor, wire and track sawing applications

    • Floor sawing – used for sawing floors and slabs in concrete or asphalt, often powered by petrol, diesel or electric motors to deliver high cutting performance over long runs.
    • Wire sawing – ideal where access is restricted or where complex shapes in mass concrete or natural stone are needed. A continuous diamond wire is attached in a loop and tensioned to cut through large sections, even on steep inclines or awkward geometry.
    • Track sawing – a saw head runs along a fixed track mounted to vertical walls or inclined surfaces, making precise cuts in reinforced concrete and structural elements with excellent control.

Essential accessories for cutting and drilling

To support these methods, we supply a variety of accessories in different sizes, ideal for EWI and general construction projects.

    Diamond blades and drill bits

    • Diamond blades – engineered for concrete, masonry, natural stone, asphalt and more. Correct selection helps provide an efficient cut and extended tool life in the specific material you’re working on.
    • Drill bits – a wide range of options to use in rotary and percussion drills, including SDS and core bits. These are required for forming service holes, fixings and anchor points.

Most products are offered in a series of diameters and lengths, each with a clear part number so you can choose the correct fit for your working set-up.

Practical uses in construction and EWI installation

In façade and EWI installation, cutting and drilling tools are frequently used to prepare concrete and brickwork for fixings, create holes for anchors, and trim boards or profiles to size. Accurate cuts help ensure systems are installed neatly around floors, openings and structural interfaces.

On broader construction projects, these tools are vital for forming new openings, assisting with controlled removal of structural elements and preparing substrates prior to new works.
