SKU: EWI-220
Reviews & Ratings
Been using this for a few years now every time I have an EWI job that is eps and it never disappoints. It's nice to work with and I like how it can be used as an adhesive and as a reinforcement layer. If you have an eps job coming up I recommend you try this.
Great stuff mix was perfect. Holds the EPS like mad. Saved so much time Sorted!
Brill. Does both the adhesive and the basecoat. Sorted my rendering issues, proper job done.
Mixed up a dream. Spreads like butter and the bond is rock solid.
Right then, running this 220 was mint. The dual-purpose bag for the boards and the basecoat? Absolutely brilliant, that. Shaved loads of faffing about moving separate tubs and cut down on waste, which is handy.
Mix consistency was spot on, didn't lump up, and the usability window was bang on. We were sticking EPS onto some rough old concrete and it grabbed solid instantly. We used the perimeter-dab method—rock solid every time.
It takes the mesh no bother when basecoating; came out perfect and felt strong and flexible when set. Coverage rates were decent. Way simpler and better value than messing around with those two-bag systems (like Weber). Great trade kit, dead easy to work with.
Brill adh. Strong bond and one bag does basecoat and fix. Saves messing.
Rock solid grip on concrete, the basecoat worked perfect too. Means less mess and zero wastage compared to using two products.
proper reliable kit. Easy mix, held the boards rock solid. My go-to now
the dual-purpose saves proper faff on site.
One bag does fixing and basecoat. Boards stuck solid to block wall. Saved me a load of time. Brill!
Great kit dead easy mix. Dual use saves ordering bags and bond is sound. Proper solid.
ok mix but dries too quick
Dual purpose adhesive sorted the job quick. No need for two types of bag which is a lifesaver. Coverage excellent, quality gear.
brill! The website KEPT crashing AND it fell off the wall.
Brill! Dual-purpose saves so much grief. Mixes smooth and the super bond sticks to the EPS perfectly.
The 2-hour pot live is an absolute liberty! Started setting hard in 40 mins and was too grainy. We had to bin laods of muck and scrape the hawk contantly. Slowed the crew down big time. Joke.
Spot on. Dual-purpose is boss —saved time and bags on site. Sticks EPS firm, trowels out flat 6mm basecoat. Brilliant bond. New go-to kit.
Top-quality dual-use. Makes EPS jobs simpler.
waited all day for the bags to turn up wiht the lads ready to go and guess what? They never came. Not a tesxt not a call not a PEEP about the delay. ZERO professionalism, cost me half a days rwates just waiting for your amaturs to tell me something. Qbsolutely rubbish service.
Two-in-one, sorted. Good grab, fast job.
this is rubbish. me lungs were burnin rfom the dust! dried too quick and then it cracked off the eps board. poor bond and useless seervice after me call for help. terrible!
Dual Purpose Boss Kit. Went on a dream! Rock solid set & great coverage. Dual-purpose is a time saver.
Sticks dead on, even in sun. Dual use kit saved time.
Mixed bang on. Dual-use sticky stuff & basecoat, sorted the job quick.
eWI-220 is a lifesaver. One bag does both. Mixes easy, proper solid finish.
Solid adh works well with EPS. Coverage low.
Proper job. Boards stuck tight, skims brilliantly over the mesh. The only two-in-one EPS kit needed.
This stuff is brilliant, top quality basecoat adhesive. Used it for fixing the EPS boards then for the mesh layer too—saved a load of time only stocking one product. Mixed right up, zero clumping. Proper strong bond on the concrete. Best I've used this year, puts the cheaper brands to shame.
Spot on dual-use gear. Saved huge tim on site only using one bag. Switching to EWI now.
Brill stuff! Saves hassel using only one bag for bonding and basecoat.
absolute BOG off this stuff. cleaning the mixer took FOREVER that cheap bag is just costing me wasted labour time wrestling sludge. terrible formulation pure rubbish!!!
Cracking dual-purpoes stuff, no faff.
Bang on. EWI-220 mixes clean for basecoat and adhesilon. Dual purpose keeps my stock tidy and it sticks to the old wall like concrete. Top stuff.
Dead easy to mix, absolutely zero lumps. Only needing the one product for stickin' the boards and for the mesh scrim saved me so much hassle and running around. No messing about. Strong stuff.
Dual-purpose EPS 220 saves so much hassle and wastage on site, massive bonus. Mix was easy had an even consistency, better than other brands I've tried. Open time was spot on for laying the 10mm basecoat with the mesh. Used the dabbing method across some dodgy painted walls and it just grabbed. Great value for the money, quick dispatch sorted the job out fast. Rock solid bond very pleased with the quality.
Dual-use adhesive saves massive time. Stuck solid to the concrete wall, proper job. Sound!
Adh sticks sound decent price. Mix consistency a faff tho, needs perfect water ratio. Too sticky/strenuous to spread across whole board.
Dual-purpose? Mint! oRck solid fix and an easy spread - proper time saver!
Top EPS product! Dual purpose is a winner—saved us massive time and site waste. Stuck fast, no sag on the concrete job. Sorted.
Sticks strong. Used loads; coverage needs to be better, though.
Proper spot on stuff for EPS. Mixed up quick dead easy consistency. Used the perimeter/dab method to fix the boards and it flew up; held its stand perfect didn't sag which means zero waste—so the coverage was genuinely economical. The dual-purpose aspect saves having a load of extra muck on site compared to others great value. We put the basecoat mesh straight into it, sets solid. This EWI-220 is top quality, sorted the whole job.
absolute rubbish. set rock hadr in 5 mins not 2 hours wouldn't bond to the concrete. AMAZING!
Good grab and dual purpose. Saved site faff! Brill.
Go-to choice for EPS. Mix is spot-on- a proper 2-in-1. Boards stuck down a treat and keyed out nice. Top gear.
Brill! Dual-purpose gear saved loads of time and mess. Sorted.
Brill. Fual purpose EPS gear. Worked spot-on!
5.8L per bag? Rubbish, you get sloppy sludge. Needed almost a litre more water just to make it sticky for dabbing foam, wrecking the consistency. Time lost and the yield is way down.
Strong stuff. But 2-bag system is a proper pain for patching.
Brill 2-in-1 gear. Used this 220 for fixing the EPS onto untreated concrete, stuck fast immediately. The dual-purpose element saved me having to order/mix a separate basecoat mix, which is a massive win on site efficiency—no wasting time or lugging extra 25kg bags around. Mixed up smooth and it didn't flash off too quick; easy to get the mesh properly embedded without rushing the trowelling. Also good call out on the description about switching to 225 if you're on Mineral Wool; appreciated that bit of info. Highly recommended for EPS. Proper job.
a proper dual job thsi! Chuffed.
Tidy stuff. One bag, job done, spot on.
One bag sorted. Dual purpose saves stock checks & money. Troweled up a treat with a proper strong bond. Delivery was bang on time. Sound!
cracking dual-use adhesive for EPS. Good price but mix sets too fast, needed longer.
Used for stick and mesh. Proper solid stuff. Great.
Brill dual-purpose gear, easy mix and really lovked the EPS boards down solid. Spot on.
Solid gear. Dual-purpose EPS/Basecoat is great for efficiency keeps the site tidy. Holds the EPS boards firmly on concrete even stuck okay to the old painted render which was a relief. Trusted qualoty.
BUT cleanup of the paddel mix was a right faff, very sticky material. Finish texture is also rougher than my previous adh brand. Needed almost a full second 5.8L bucket of water to get the correct troweling consistency too. I wish they did a 10kg bag option for fiddly small extensions.
top notch gear. Mixes smooth (no lumps!). The two-hour work time saved loads of bother on site. Sticks fast, works good for the mesh too. Simple.
Did the whole EWI job. The glue and basecoat mix was spot on, no sag at all. Miles better than the rubbish from eBay last time.
Top stuff. Used for EPS fix and basecoat, saved us a load of time not mixing two types. Troweled mint.
Great stuff, will use again.
DUAL PURPOSE MY ARSE. Had to check the tiny print re substrates—why list it if you need the EWI 225 for mineral wool boards? Wasted an hour standing around confirming what boards this takes. Get a clearer spec sheet FFS. PIG.
Goes on like butter! Mixed dead eay and dual purpose is spot on for all our EWI work.
Go-to stuff for EPS. Saves faff with one bag for sticking and mesh layer. Flawless finish! Great stuff!
EWI-220 is decent for boards and basecoat. Solid fix, saves us carrying two bags. BUT the mix got proper stiff before the 2hr mark
—big waste risk.
Proper dual-purpose. Saves time & money not carrying two bags. Mixed spot on & sound adhesion!
Perfect for board & basecoat.
Brill. Proper sticky and mixes perfectly. Using just one bag for adhesive and mesh basecoat saved a right hassle.
Sorted an exterior re-clad last week and used the EWI-220 across the board. Dead impressed, mate. Honestly, having one bag for sticking the foam and bedding the mesh in has been a massive time-saver—no more double-ordering or sweating over having too much of one product left over. It felt rock solid bonding the EPS straight away; no wrestling with the boards falling off. The mix was spot on straight away, dead easy to paddle up without turning it into sloppy seconds or having loads of lmups to pick out. It spread beautifully smkoth onto the board, and the usability time was spot on for my pace—not too fast where you’re scrapping loads, but it set hard fast enough once it was on. Saved a small fortune on wastage too, which is always welcome. Will definitely recommend this stuff, it just works without all the faff you get with some of those other two-part render systems. Brill stuff.
Works good. Long pot life.
Proper smooth texture, perfect grab.
Bang On! Mixed consistency spot on right away. Keys tight on concrete/plaster. Proper solid basecoat, reduced wastage.
Proper good grab, saved us runnng two bags. Brill stuff!
Sound gear! Only needing the one bag for fixing the boards and the basecoat layer is the major benefit—cuts the faff on site. Mix went perfectly and the mesh held dead solid spot on thickness too. Proper job I'll only use this for EPS now.
Brill stuff. Dual purpose meant only one bag for bonding EPS & the mesh layer. Saved time and wastage on site. Solid, proper strong bond on the concrete sub.
5.8L of water felt too loose. Had to wait 15 mins for it to stiffen up properly minor faff. Strong adhesive bond overall though.
One bag dioes the lot. Sticks solid, mix is spot on!
Brilliant dual-purpose gear. Mixed up right, got great grab on the boards and spreads lovely for the mesh coat. Keeps the site inventory dead simple. Top quality.
solid on EPS boards. Coverage tigt embedding the mesh.
Proper good kit, goes further than Sika.
Solid dual-purpose EPS mix.
mostly excellent. Workhorse adh. Cover rate tight & hard to flatten.
amazing! lol worst bag ever arrived ripped owder eevrywhere. this stuff wouldn't stick to silicate elements at all peeled off next day. mix set immediately useless for the 6mm mesh embeding kept cracking. where is the basecoat only instructions anyway? cost me double the peoduct total tlime waste aviod.
Used for boards and mesh. Sticks fast. Brill basecoat. No messing.
wORST STUFF ECVER MATE. Caked powder mixed to an unusable PUDDING despite exact water ratio. Avoid this bobbins unless you like CLUMPS!
This stuff spread like butter proper rock hard
Sound dual-purpose EPS adh/basecoat. Savez us hauling multiple bags, spot on. But that specific water ratio for the mix slows prep down; bit of a faff.
Brill dual purpose ADH/BC. Good graft.
dual purpose sorted the whole wall-sticks the EPS proper. Still sound after two years.
This EWI-220 is bang on. Saves loads of time because it sticks boards firm and then handles the mesh too. Decent price for dual functionality.
Sorted! Fantastic consistency for basecoat & dabbing the boards. Saved a load of hassle using one bag, strong flexible finish. Five stars.
Brill stuff. Great dual-purpose kit. Adh is solid but too dusty when mixing and hard to float smooth. Not bad value though.
Go-to stuff now. Basecoat & adhesive sorted. Brkll.
Adh is solid. Dual-purpose is ideal, but open time is a nightmare when the sun is out.
Spot on. One bag does board fixing & basecoat. Saved loadsa time, decent bond.
Top gear. Sticks rock solid.
Brill bit of kit. Mixed like a doddle and EPS boards stuck solid. My new go-to.
One bag does it all. Absolutely brilliant!
Solid gear, only one bag needed for EPS!
Saved a load of time. Dual-purpose EWI-220 stuck perfect to all our concrete.
sorted. The dual-purpose gear worked prefectly for sticking the EPS up and the 6mm basecoat. Good flexible bond even on that rough wall. Great stuff!
Dual purpose. Saves stock & watse
Two-in-one! Saved serious faffing about with different bags. It bonds rock solid, great working time. Proper secure finjsh!
Never Fails! Spot on every time for EPS jobs. Dual-purpose EWI-220 saves hassle and the consistency's a proper winner.
Brill gear! One bag handles the adhesive and basecoat, saves so much time and hassle mate. Will reorder.
Good value 2-in-1 bag. Grab is solid, strong gear. Not as smooth on the basecoat layer and set up too quick in the cool air.
Brill stuff mixs up dead smooth. Saves a load of hassle using it for basecoat too.
brilliant dual bag kit. Stix well but the 5.8L ratio makes for a very slack mix.
Sound product. Proper 2in1 adhesive/basecoat, mixed easy and held the EPS fast.
Dual use saved a lot of hassle. Adhesion is proper job, but sets fast. Arms ached more than using Weber stuff.
Knackered before I started. Its useless absolutely bolted solid. Day ruined total waste of money on this OLD stock. Never again!!
Spot on basecoat adhesive. Used for glue and mesh saved us cash and site space
absolutely fuming over this 220 used it for the basecoat and mesh layer on the EPS following all the curing guides. after 1 week IT STARTED BLEEDING a nasty yellowish stain right thru the final topcoat render layer. WORST. BASECOAT. EVER. not only is the look RUINED but i have to spend days stripping and recoating the whole wall now which means 2 days lost profit for one facade because of cheap material. do not make this mistake get the PREMIUM basecoat trust me this budget cement will screw you.
Mint for EPS work, saved me ordering.
Fracking stuff. Dead easy to mix and it sticks the EPS like glue. Dual use meant less hassle on site. Sorted!
Only one bag needed. Saved money & hassle.
Spot on! Sticks like anything and spreads lovely. Saved a proper faff.
The EPS stick is solid right enough I'll give it that. But the mixing is heavy work mate way too dusty and awkward to get the right water ratio. Usability time felt closer to 90 mins not 2 hours, that caused proper wastage on site. Had to chase CS just to track the delivery, too. Could be better, the faff just raises the final job cost.
Brilliant kit, used as adhesive and basecoat. Stuck the EPS dead on the wall, no sag and great grab. Flexibility is superb keeps the system sound.
awful bloody rubbish! the 25kg bag ripped clean open during transit wasting the load what a nightmare. after salvaging enough the product itself is terrible. 5.8 litres gives a soupy mess that ceacks like river mud when drying. it set far too qhickly but still remained soft underneath. wasted a full day trying to use this absolute dtoss. switch to cerexsit or sika.
Solid two-in-one adh/base. Sorted.
Saves bags and it works good. Proper job done!
Proper EPS gear. Dua-purpose adhesive & basecoat, mixed spot on, solid bond!
absolute joke that lad sold me a pup on the phone i specificaly aksed if this 220 would stick to lightweight block mate said use 301 primer and it completely failed total time-waster now I've had to chip it all back off dont trust their customer servlice rubbish adfice costs jobs.
Top quality stuff. The dual-purpose meant only one bag needed on site, massive time-saver. Mixes up dead easy and stays workable for the full two hours. It held the EPS boards fast, proper grip on the cellular concrete wall. Trowelled out smoorh over the mesh. Better coverage than the spec says, too. Brill.
Brill dual-purpose EPS. One bag, job done fast.
One bag on site is brilliant. Solid bond, dead easy.
Dual-use meant less faff on site. Mix took a good trowel finish & stuck solid.
