The uPVC Semi-Flex Round Nose Plasterboard Corner Bead helps installers create smooth, consistent rounded corners across internal plasterboard walls, partitions, reveals and boxed sections.
Flexible sections within both wings allow the profile angle to be adjusted during installation. This makes the bead easier to position on corners that are not perfectly square while maintaining a defined bullnose edge for a consistent rounded finish.
Its thin profile requires only a light covering of finishing compound. Ramped edges create a gradual transition into the surrounding plasterboard surface, helping reduce visible ridges and making the compound easier to feather out.
These characteristics make the bead well suited to thin finishing compounds, ready-mixed plaster and compatible airless plaster applications. Compatibility and the required covering thickness should always be checked against the chosen compound manufacturer’s instructions.
The rounded nose creates a softer alternative to a sharp square corner while reinforcing vulnerable plasterboard edges against knocks, chips and everyday damage. Manufactured from white uPVC, the bead will not rust or corrode and is compatible with standard plasterboard finishing compounds.
The bead has 24mm × 24mm wings and is supplied in a 2.5m length.
