PRO-250 LEVEL-QS is a rapid-setting, cement-based self-levelling floor compound designed to create smooth, level internal floors before the installation of tiles, vinyl, carpet, laminate or engineered wood flooring.
Offering excellent flow and high mechanical strength, this quick-setting floor leveller can be applied from 2mm up to 100mm in a single application. It is suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects, making it a practical choice for installers who need to correct uneven floors, build up deeper sections or prepare a reliable surface for the final floor covering.
Once applied, PRO-250 LEVEL-QS is walkable after approximately two hours and can normally receive floor coverings after approximately 24 hours, helping to reduce downtime and keep flooring projects moving.
Why Choose PRO-250 LEVEL-QS?
- Rapid-setting self-levelling floor compound for internal floors.
- Applied from 2mm to 100mm in a single application.
- Excellent flow helps create a smooth and even finish.
- Walkable after approximately two hours.
- Ready for floor coverings after approximately 24 hours.
- Suitable beneath tiles, vinyl, carpet, laminate and engineered wood.
- High mechanical strength for residential, commercial and public buildings.
- Suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects.
- CT-C20-F6 classification.
- A1fl reaction to fire classification.
Intended Uses
PRO-250 LEVEL-QS is designed for levelling and smoothing internal concrete, cement screed and other suitable mineral-based floor substrates.
It provides a stable, even background before installing:
- Ceramic and porcelain tiles
- Vinyl flooring
- Carpet
- Laminate flooring
- Engineered wood flooring
Its wide application range makes it suitable for minor floor corrections as well as deeper levelling work in residential, commercial and public buildings.
Substrate Preparation
Substrates must be sound, dry, stable and free from dust, dirt, grease, oil, paint residue, curing compounds and loose or friable material.
Cracks, holes and damaged areas should be repaired before the floor levelling compound is applied. Once preparation is complete, vacuum the surface thoroughly and apply PRO-311 Yellow Grit Primer in accordance with the substrate type and porosity.
Correct preparation and priming are essential for achieving reliable adhesion and a consistent finished surface.
Product Preparation
Mix one 25kg bag of PRO-250 LEVEL-QS with approximately 6.9 to 7 litres of clean water.
Gradually add the powder to the water while mixing with a slow-speed electric mixer for approximately two to three minutes. Continue mixing until a smooth, homogeneous and lump-free consistency is achieved.
Allow the mixture to stand briefly, then remix before application. Do not add additional water once mixed and do not remix material that has started to set.
The working time is approximately 30 minutes at 20°C.
Application
Pour the mixed floor levelling compound onto the prepared and primed substrate. Spread it evenly using a smoothing trowel, gauge rake or suitable floor levelling tool.
Immediately use a spiked roller to release trapped air and help achieve a smooth, consistent finish.
PRO-250 LEVEL-QS can be applied between 2mm and 100mm thick in a single application. Under normal conditions, the surface will be walkable after approximately two hours and ready for floor coverings after approximately 24 hours.
Drying times may vary depending on the application thickness, substrate and site conditions.
Application Conditions
Apply only when the substrate and ambient temperatures are between 5°C and 25°C.
During curing, protect the surface from direct sunlight, frost, strong draughts and rapid drying. These conditions can affect the flow, curing and final performance of the floor levelling compound.
