Intended Uses

PRO-685 DECO Venetian Plaster is designed for internal decorative applications on walls, ceilings and selected interior surfaces. It adheres well to mineral substrates such as plasterboard, fine mortars and prepared plaster surfaces, providing a durable decorative finish in residential and commercial settings. It is particularly suited to projects where a fine, smooth finish is desired.

Substrate Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry, stable and free from dust, grease, oil, loose material and any other contaminants that may affect adhesion. Significant irregularities, cracks or holes should be repaired before application to create a sound, even background. The substrate must be primed with PRO-684 DECO Lime Primer before application.

Product Preparation

PRO-685 DECO Venetian Plaster is supplied ready to use.

• Do not add water or other additives unless specifically recommended for the intended application

Application

Apply using a spatula or trowel depending on the finish required. PRO-685 is intended for thin-layer decorative work and is suited to a fine, smooth finish. Recommended application thickness is 1mm to 3mm.

Application Conditions

Apply only when ambient and substrate temperatures are between 5°C and 30°C. Do not apply in unsuitable conditions or where site conditions may affect curing or finish quality.
