PRO-686 DECO Marmorino Plaster is a decorative lime-based plaster created for elegant interior finishes with a natural mineral appearance and a slightly more textured, characterful feel than a fine Venetian finish. Based on the same breathable decorative plaster system, it uses air lime, micronised marble and performance additives to create moisture-regulating surfaces with a classic Marmorino-style effect. It is ideal where a decorative interior finish with more visible body and texture is required.

Intended Uses

PRO-686 DECO Marmorino Plaster is designed for internal decorative applications on walls, ceilings and selected interior surfaces. It adheres well to mineral substrates such as plasterboard, fine mortars and prepared plaster surfaces, making it suitable for residential and commercial interiors where a coarser, more textured decorative finish is wanted. The original DECO data sheet identifies the L finish as Marmorino Veneziano with a 0.2 mm grain size.

Substrate Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry, stable and free from dust, grease, oil, loose material and any other contaminants that may affect adhesion. The substrate should be checked for flatness, and any significant irregularities, cracks or holes should be repaired before application. The substrate must be primed with PRO-684 DECO Lime Primer before the plaster is applied.

Application

PRO-686 DECO Marmorino Plaster is designed for internal decorative finishes and can be applied using a spatula or trowel depending on the finish required. Recommended application thickness is 1mm to 3mm.

Application Conditions

Apply only when ambient and substrate temperatures are between 5°C and 30°C. Do not apply in unsuitable conditions or where temperature and site conditions may affect curing or finish quality.
