SKU: WKR-SM-08060
Reviews & Ratings
used 'em on the track. Worked okay for timber but stripped two heads driving them fully home; need a better thread profile for masonry. Price is fair, but box needs to be resealable.
Best fixings used, oroper quality.
Superior fixing compared to the cheap multipacks. I didn't have to swap bits for concrete vs blockwork, these went straight in dead easy with the impact gun. No snapping, no stripping. Cracking quality and finish. Highly recommend to any trade.
Screw drove in proper good and quick. Minimal stripping, the startser track is rock solid. Brill.
No stripping. Held sound in brick.
Proper solid. Went into brick & board without fuss. Worth it.
Starter track fixed fast to concrete. Held tight even with variable block. No messinf about.
Top-quality fixing! Got these for the EWI track. Honestly miles better than that cheaper stuff you get in bulk
proper robust fixings. Bit into the old brickwork no problem at all, saves messing about with pre-drilling every time. No stripped heads, either. Price is great considering the quality. Recommend these to anyone. Smashed the job.
Spot on for the starter tracmk. Sound.
Starter track is rock solid. Easy to install on concrete/brick and never stripped the head. Perfect for the job.
Brill. Online Help was spot on; perfect for the starter track fix on the brickwork. Holds fast, took the driver fine. A reliable, solid fixing.
Rock solid fixing on the brickwork. Done.
dead simple. Theze didn't strip out, even in concrete! Quality fixings, total relief after using those cheap jobbers. Made the track fixing proper easy.
Decent enough gear for the starter track and lighter fixes. Brill hold in brickwork and block, spot on for EWI base layers. Sorted a small plasterboard job too, held firm. BUT, had a proper issue on a section of old dense concrete—snapped two of them right off, and one section needed more bite, the length just wasn't there (had a slight mix of sizes). They're not for truly heavy-duty work, mind you. The box was awful on arrival, split and spilled all over the shop (Rubbish!). Typical, the price has crept up a bit since I last bought them. Reliable 4-star fixings for 90% of the job, still good kit.
Rock solid in brickwork and concrete. Didn't strip the head out which is normally the aggro. Decent money for these, defo buying in bulk next time.
Cracking screws, proper bite in the concrete.
Right then, bit straight into the brick & held tight for the track fix. Chuffed overall, but size felt smaller than I thought, and price is steep for this quantity.
Drives smooth no stripping
Brill. Stopped a headache right out the gate. No messin' with the threads, grabbed straight into the concrete without spinning out. Top quality kit and the price is bang on for this spec.
These SM080 screws were spot on for the starter track fitment. Exactly the right size and thread for the job. Held incredibly tight in concrete and blockwork—properly superb grip giving me full confidence in the long-term structural integrity. Zero cam-out on tightening which is mint. Highly reliable kit and great value. Cheers EWI.
superior to those fiddly screws with plugs. Bolts the track down spot on. Good price too.
Good fix for the starter track. Does the job well. Careful on the drive setting, head strips easily. Bit pricey tho.
Top-notch fixing into block. Didn't strip.
Sorted the track but £5.50 is too steep for screws that bend in proper concrete.
Thread was mint for the concrete. Rock-solid track fix. Proper job, sorted.
Proper gear for the track. Holds like cement!
Solid track screw does the job. Needed more torque than expected though and the grip on plasterboard could be mint. Bit pricey.
Amazing quality. Held solid in concrete/stone, didn't strip a single head on the track install. Sorted the job quick. Miles better than the rubbish originals!
Proper job on the fixings. Robust, didn't snap even on tough block. Spot on quality.
Brill. Needed them quick for track fixing on old brickwork. Yhey went straight home didnt strip or shear, dead easy to fit. Saves time and hassle.
Simply the Best! Finally, screws that *work*. Sunk perfect in stone/concrete, holds the track solid. Quick fix, saves time. Top quality for the price. Won't buy rubbish ones ever again.
Chuffed the second lot are just as good. They fix the track dead tight. Consistency is everything—I'll always reorder these.
Bob on in the block. Sound screw.
Went in concrete like butter and held tight. Saved loads of time on the blockwork, brill.
Rock solid fix for the starter track in concrete. Zero stripped heads. Highly reliable!
Brill. These screws are spot on for the external starter track and grip like a dream on blockwork. Much easier to drive in, saves my drill battery! Sorted.
Look like the expensive gear. Fitted track spot on. Bit soft on block, mind. Good value, will reorder.
Soft material strips too easy on dense blockwork, threading issues. Overpriced really for fixing quality that is so bog-standard compared to trade gear.
Dead easy drive into blockwork. Proper length and gauge. Held up solid, no striping.
These WKRET-MET screws are mint. Bolted the track straight in and they didn't chew out the driver recess. Delivery was fast too. Chuffed.
good drive. Bit softer steel.
Great bit of kit works good on brick. Driver was spot on too.
Solid in hard brick and concrete. Top quality. Quick job.
Spot on, didn't strip once.
Threading caught first time. Fixed the startrer track rock-solid in concrete. Bang on.
metal's too soft; one stripped straight away, took longer to drive in too. Got slight surface rust after one week outside.
Proper kit for starter track, drives true and locks tight into the brick. Brill, good value.
Brill! Didn't snap a head fitting the starter track. Great value kit.
Drive-in was sweet, great hold on the track. Heads recessed a bit too deep, even with a depth stop, so watch the torque. Reliable fixings, but need smaller packs for repair jobs and they tarnished outside quick.
Brill gear! The threads bit hard into the blockwork and didn't strip. Starter track feels rock solid job done quicker than I thought.
Decent fixings for the track. Got good grip in the concrete, but the screw head stripped out on the harder sections of blockwork.
does the main job ok... not bad for plasterboard track runs. But frankly cost a bit much considering the soft material. Had the POZI head strip on moderate torque straight away. Not ideal and definitely didn't perform well trying to hit solid hard brick. 'It'll do', nothing more.
Cracking hold. Used 'em for starter track straigth into old blockwork and they just flew in, proper strong grip. Sat dead flush, zero stripped heads even with the impact driver rattling away. Saves a ton of hassle, this screw. Go-to fix now, without a doubt. Brill!
Didn't chew the heads even with my biggest impact setting. Excellent bite in the block. Spot on bit of kit.
Proper kit, mate. Secured tight in the old stone no bother. Miles better than cheap screws that always snap. Sorted.

Starter track screws work perfect on concrete and brick. No stripped heads, proper strong fix and sits flush. Cant fault the value, my new go-to.
brill fixings. Sits flush. Solid hold.
Proper decent fixing. Held the starter track solid in brickwork. Head felt weak tho; nearly stripped on hard patches. Needs a TX drive, and bulk pack deals mate.
Proper heavy-duty grip. These are priced right compared to other quality EWI fixings. Didn't strip, saved time. Spot on.
Proper kit. Sorted the fixing.
Awful. Heads stripped straight off.
rUBBISH. The absolute worst. Came late & were useless for cocrete fiing. Heads snapped off constantly felt too brittle and the threads stripped straight away—nicking half my tim trying to fish bits out. Drive kept slipping out too. Couldn't fit the starter track flush and they instantly rusted! Plus the packaging ripped & I lost screws. Total administrative kerfuffle. Just get the cheaper proper masonry fixings down the tradse road. Shoddy muck.
Brill bit of kit. Savred me loads time.
Brill in plasterboard. Fits starter track perfectly and gave a rock-solid fix.
Sound quality fixed the track well & didn't strip my bit. Sheer volume I had to order for the job was higher than estimated, total hassle.
brilliant kit, spot on gauge. Flawless grip in the blockwork, zero snapping or stripping whatsoever. Look dead tidy sitting flush.

Track fixings spot on. Sits perfectly flush super secure hold in concrete. Better than competition. Brill.
Brill. Held the track solid. Heads didn't mushroom. Tips strip quick hitting that stone agg though. Decent kit, good price.
Cracking bit of kit for the track, exactly what was needed. Good screw for the money, reliable thread. Lost a star because the recess is shallow and one head stripped when torqud up.
Rock solid fix in brick, no stripped heads! Proper job.
Sound for track fixing. Head recessed clean. Pack bit pricey tho.
No stripping! Fly straight in concrete. Saves time none of that plug faff. Solid fix for the track.
Fired straight in, no bogging down on concrete. Solid bit of kit.

flew into brickwork and didn't strip a head. Top job.
Brill screws, threads engaged spot on. Starter track is rock solid now.
RIGHT. this is a joke product. said these would work in plasterboard for the starter track run-in. LIES. they spin out, no grip whatsoever. heads strip instantly and the one i tried to persuade just SHEARED clean off. proper shoddy metal quality, cost a premium only to waste half a day. stick to coarse thread drywall screws. AVOID this NAFF 'all-in-one' rubbish. a right pigs ear of a purchase.
Did the starter track job spot on. Sound, but stripped one head and one screw was bent.
Spot on screws for the track. Solid grip into the concrete, proper quick.
Mint quality and spot on size for the EWI track fixings. Solid hold in the brickwork, definitely worth it.
Proper solid gear. Saves time and hassle. Needed these urgently, got them fast, saved a proper nightmare with the schedule. The service and driver were spot on, [Sales Assistant Name] sorted me out with a quick query beforehand too. Fired these SM080s dead straight into the old stone and concrete base track. Grip is miles better than the stuff I used to buy. Absolutely zero issues with stripping the head or anything breaking, and they seated flush every time. They even handled mounting a heavier fixture. Will only be using this kit from now on. Excellent value, proper stuff. Brill!
Amazing! Went into brickwork easy. No stripping, strong hold. Stater track secure. Sorted.
Decent grip on starter track, but chew the face up a bit.
Top screws, thye don't chew the bits.
Decent kit near five stars. Head seated proper flush in the track, spot on. Only four stars 'cause a few stripped when pushing firm into dense brick. Run short too, needs a bigger pack size.
Solid holding power for the track on brick and block. Nipped in fast, didn't strip a single one! Spot on!
Perfect fit with the SM080 track. Sorted!

Spot on. Gripped the masonry straight away and fitted the track flush.
Proper quality. Job done!
Held soli in the blockwork. Zero stripped heads and took the torque no problem.
done the trick fixing the starter track perfectly to the brickwork substrate. Holds really solid. Just worried about the corrosion after a wet winter outdoors. Sound product overall.
Seriously impressed. No cam-out zero stripping. High quality fixings that fly into concrete block and grip tight in the plaster. Saved me loads a time. Brill!
Proper screw, brilliant grip in concrete. Sorted the job.
Drove spot on into old brick, didn't snap or strip the head. Secure hold, sound as a pound. Worth every penny.
Brill! Held perfectly in the blockwork saved a few quid too.

Great quality for the competitive price. Fixed the starter track firm. Bit supplied was cack
wore out quick. The loose screws were a proper faff for the job site.
Proper good grip into concrete an brick. WKRET-MET never disappoint. Saves hassle on stripping heads. Needed restock quick, sorted the day. Brill.
absolute JOKE. one star is too generous for this garbage i received the wrong size (SM050s instead of the 80s) and the package was ripped typical SHAMBLES. the heads that i managed to try snapped clean off in brickwork
before they even seated properly not just soft metal but brittle rubbish quality. the unusable ones started rusting INSTANTLY in the van, proof the plating is a joke. complete waste of my morning and the postage fee, i'm now a day behind waiting for proper heat-treated replacements. AVOID this material.
They held fir. Didn't strip or rust, like the last brand. Sorted the job easy.
Spot on! Used these for the starter track install, much better than the budget stuff I tried last time. They drove easily and bit tight in old brickwork, zero stripping or snapped heads when I accidentally over-tightened one. These held great, even in the dodgy concrete bit. Excellent value for the price paid, and the delivery was dead quick. Nailed the spec and made the job mcuh simpler. Proper piece of kit.
