EWI Pro – Clamping Washer – 60mm (100 Pieces)

The EWI Pro – Clamping Washer is used in conjunction with EWI fixings to secure insulation boards to the external wall. It is particularly useful in maintaining the integrity of the insulation system under various environmental conditions, ensuring the boards remain firmly in place and reducing the risk of thermal bridging.

It is ideal for use with EWI Pro fixings and is compatible with various insulation materials, including EPS, mineral wool, and phenolic boards. The Clamping Washer has an additional masking plug to eliminate thermal bridges and ensure a neat, aesthetic finish. Suitable for any thickness of insulation layer, with the requirement to select the appropriate screw and allows for both surface and recessed mounting.

Application

1. Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean and free from any debris.
2. Fixing Placement: Position the EWI fixing through the centre of the clamping washer.
3. Installation: Insert the combined fixing and washer into the pre-drilled hole in the insulation board and wall, then secure it firmly.
4. Final Check: Ensure the washer sits flush against the insulation board to distribute the load evenly.
