Tanking Membrane is a one-component, ready-to-use sealing compound based on acrylic resin dispersion. It forms a seamless, flexible and durable waterproof coating, ideal for bathrooms, walk-in showers, wet rooms, basements and other moisture-prone areas. Suitable for substrates such as concrete, cement-lime plaster, gypsum plaster, screeds (including underfloor heating) and plasterboards. For best results, we recommend priming the surface with Water Based Substrate Primer (EWI-301) before application.

How to Use

Stir the product thoroughly before application. Apply Tanking Membrane with a brush or roller in at least two coats, allowing around 3 hours drying time between layers. Ensure all corners, joints and pipe penetrations are reinforced with sealing tape or flanges. The surface should be primed beforehand with Water Based Substrate Primer (EWI-301) for best adhesion. Once fully cured (approx. 18 hours), the surface can be tiled or finished as required.
