EWI Pro Acrylic Render is our best value render finish. Available in hundreds of different colours, Acrylic Render is the no.1 choice for those looking to finish buildings with really vibrant colours, since it does not fade over time.

  • Cost-effective
  • Waterproof and frost-proof
  • High elasticity
  • Good adhesion
  • Will maintain the intensity of vibrant colours

EWI-010 Acrylic Render is the best value render in the EWI Pro catalogue. The render will form a long lasting, aesthetically-pleasing protective barrier on your external walls. It is also particularly good at holding vibrant colours, and can be mixed in almost any shade. Although this render is often used as the final stage of an EWI Pro external wall insulation system, it can also be used as a standalone top coat render, provided the reinforcement layer is used too.

Technical Details

Ready-to-use acrylic render. Water-repelling, highly resistant to mechanical impact,  flexible, with good adhesion and colour fastness. Free of ammonia and organic solvents.

EWI-010 can be easily applied by hand or sprayed onto a substrate.

This EWI-010 Acrylic Render is available in four grain sizes. Coverage is as follows:

  • 1.0mm – 1.9kg/m2. One bucket should cover 12 – 13 m2
  • 1.5mm – 2.4kg/m2. One bucket should cover 9 – 10 m2
  • 2.0mm – 3.4kg/m2. One bucket should cover 6-8m2
  • 3.0mm – 5.0kg/m2. One bucket should cover 5-6m2

Intended Use:

EWI-010 Acrylic Render is designed as a decorative and protective finish, suitable for use on its own or as the final stage of the EPS/mineral wool wall thermal insulation systems offered by EWIPro.

EWI-010 is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. The product is not recommended for use in thermal wall insulation systems using hard mineral wool panels or for use on wet walls with a high level of technological moisture (e.g. made of fresh cellular concrete). We recommend using EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render in conjunction with our mineral wool insulation systems.

  4. Rated 4 out of 5

The material arrived on time and had no problems with application but can you make sure you check every small detail as one of the buckets you supplied had a broken handle.

Now all jobs seem to be done on m2 basis, this is the answer. A cheap, easily to apply render that will work with most solid wall insulaton systems.

Have to say I'm not a fan of the rendered finish. The house we bought had pebbledash and the only option was to strip it off and repoint. But the state of walls was so bad that i had to add 50mm of polystyrene with the acrylic render on top. We used an installer called Work Work who were trained on these systems and could offer us a 10yr warranty. My wife is very happy and that's the most importAnt thing I guess :)!!!
