Based in the building and construction sector, we are the leading seller of external wall insulation and modern render systems in the South East. We have a large database of installers across the UK who use our systems and materials, and we now have branches throughout the South-East England where we sell, deliver and stock our materials.
We’re excited to be on the look-out for a full-time Sales Executive to join us and report directly in to our Sales Manager.
The role is a great opportunity to take a first step into sales/ business development, with generous commission and growth opportunities as the business expands. We are keen to maintain strong a relationship with our customers, so excellent customer service and organisation skills are necessary. A candidate with a clear drive and exhibiting leadership skills will be prioritised.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Identify opportunities for sales growth and develop action plans to capitalise on them.
- Present a positive and motivated working environment and share best practices within the sales team.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to drive sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts.
- Establish strong working relationships with all internal teams, such as marketing, technical, and operations, to support sales efforts.
- Reporting directly into our Sales Manager, helping with existing clients
- Calling new / potential customers.
- Identify customer needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term customer growth.
- Using our existing Customer Relationship Management system to help reduce the attrition of customers.
- Working with technical sales team to ensure orders are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices.
- Continuously enhance sales skills and knowledge through training programs, workshops, and self-study.
- Be prepared to carry out ad-hoc tasks at the discretion of the Sales Manager.
- Be prepared to work 2 Saturdays per month (reduced shift hours).
