Title: Cracking job finally fixed proper.
Right then. Needed these for a run of 120mm EPS boards onto concrete blockwork. pSot on.
The smooth installation saved serious labour time. That concise anchoring zone means you screw them in and they just sit level. No faffing with shims or struggling to get the countersink flush like the cheap gear.
It feels a robust fixing seriously strong and gives me full confidence the board ain't shifting in bad weather. Crucially the plastic-coated metal pin stops the thermal bridging. That feature alone justifies the price for me; cheaper ones cause huge problems later down the line with condensation/cold spots.
Perfectly secured and the thermo caps disappeared clena under the basecoat. Switching my entire supply chain to these. Sorted.

sorted the whole job. No messing with assembly great pull strength in block, and no thermal stand-off. Worth every penny.

Best fiixng I've used. Paid the extra for the metal screw type, no regrets. No stripping and they held fast in iffy blockwork. Brill!

used the 155mm for EPS, very fast installation time and great hold confirmed by pull test. Plastic-coated pin felt weak/soft during the initial screw motion though.

Proper solid fixing strength on the concrete sub. Secure feeling when screwed in. Installation was quick but the initial precise recess was a faff.

Solid fixing, high price.Fixings are solid and feel proper secure in the blockwork, so no fear of wind uplift here. Superior strength characteristics and works exactly as needed on XPS and EPS. Quick installation overall, though drilling the countersink took a bit more effort than I first thought. They hold tight and prevent the thermal bridging dead on. Only dropping a star because a few pins were scuffed, plus the price felt quite dear for the volume supplied. Also, my delivery driver left the pallet right across the access road for an hour. Still would buy again for the overall hold and thermal integrity.
