1-star is purely for the barmy delivery price. Cgarging that much for a simlle box of 8mm hammer dixings is a complete liberty! Mate the postage bill alone nearly ocst alf what the actual plugs did it totally ruined the value. they're not a tonne of decking, it's jusf one box. Seriously putting people off ordering trade kit online. i'll just go to the local yatrd next time, dead cheap by comparison. Don't bother.

Proper anchor strength in concrete and brick. Way better than generic stuff. Quick installseated flush every time, saving hours on site. The integrated plastic sleeve solves the cold bridging issue right away. Great price for this specialist kit. Driver was helpful too. I'll stick with these fixings for future EWI jobs.

brill fixings, but takes some welly to set them. Got the 115mm size and they worked a treat on the brick/XPS setup. Load performance is proper rock solid on the heavy duty sections, which is the main thing, and the coated pin handles the thermal break perfectlyGcan't fault it for security. Dropped a star because the install process was a right faff on. Needed a hefty lump hammer to seat them, and they had a tendency to 'walk' before biting into the hole. The instruction sheet on recessing the cap flush is vague, ended up needing trial-and-error. Also pricey bit of kit compared to others I priced up. That said, quick delivery and the customer service chat confirmed XPS use, so reliable in the end.

This metal fixing is absolutely sound. Used it on old brickwork, the 8mm grabbed perfect and it's not budging a millimeter. It countersunk with next to no fuss and hammering the pin was quick, job sorted. Much faster than alternatives and for the price, its competitive for a quality metal core fixing mate. Chuffed.

Proper job! Needed the 155mm bits and they were great for EPS and mineral wool. WAY better than the cheaper fixings I tried before that needed those dodgy thermal caps separately. Went in dead straight on old brick, no messing. Quick delivery helped keep the job running. Solid stuff, zero issues.

Good, reliable fixing. Quick install, and the plastic coating is decent quality—seems to handle the thermal bridging well (despite a tiny scrape I spotted). The hold on the EPS boards to the concrete is rock solid, passed all our pull tests fine. What stops it from being 5 stars is the hassle factor: having to use a separate cutter for the countersink recess is a right pain and a wasted step that others manage to eliminate. The metal plate also didn't sit perfectly flush once recessed. Also got sent the wrong length, which was frustrating, though ironically it worked better for my thickness so I'll let it slide. Price is a bit high, but the durability justifies it mostly.

Spot on kit. 115mm length used, high quality material. Performance is very good, secured the XPS insulation nicely, especially in the concrete areas. The plastic coated pin is the main draw here – saves major faff fitting separate thermal caps, makes the price point fair vs the competition.
It performed quick as advertised, but nailing them into the dense blockwork was tough work (had to adjust the drilling technique). Felt solid but the guide on countersink depth was vague. Was also one fixing short which stalled me on a tricky corner. Good stuff, will buy again.

Awful stuff. Waited ages box soaking wet in the rain and they substituted the lengths I actually ordered wtihout telloing me. The quality control is nonexistent. Pins constantly binding
it cost me half a day getting them flush. The plastic coatign scraped right off the mild steel pins so much for thermal bridge protection now they
re already rusting! And they failed the pull test on dense bick. Total waste of cash and time. Short quantity as well. Rubbish.

tTAL GARBAGE! Absolute waste of my weekend and time. Installed these 8mm fixings into my EWI boards thrn left the adhesive to cure. Next morning (no sun just typical geat off the remder curign) half of them were bowefd/warped completely out of shape! Looks like the metal pins are made of TINFOIL or some inferior, CHEAP stock ythat cannot handle external temperatures. Had to R.I.P. out the lot! Now I'm behind schedule and stuck dealing with tjhis customer service rubbosh. Honestly, stick to glass fibre fixings if you want thermal stability. EWI PRO? More like EWI NO. Utterly NOT fit for purpose. Do not buy this cheap imiytation rubbish.

superior strenght" is UTTER GARBAGE. They failed a puoll test instantly and corroded within adys when the flimsy plastic pin SNAPPED tapping them in. Total mess up. And zero instructions on what router/depth to use for the countersink recess! Seriously unreliable quality control, too; got a mixed bag of short fixings. Total time wasted.
