The Roofline Closure System - Apex Connector (Downlip) is a key component designed to create a clean, weatherproof finish at the apex junction of RCS profiles. This downlip variant is specifically engineered for use at angled roofline intersections, where it guides water away from the external wall insulation system to prevent ingress and maintain system integrity.

The Apex Connector (Downlip) integrates seamlessly into the wider Roofline Closure System to ensure a continuous, watertight seal. Manufactured with a 10-degree pitch to aid water runoff, it complies with PAS 2035 standards and is suitable for funded schemes such as ECO4, SHDF, and HUG.

Installers must ensure a minimum overlap of 40mm in standard exposure zones and 50mm in severe weather conditions, in line with updated RCS regulations. Custom sizes to accommodate deeper insulation thicknesses (e.g., 50mm overlap for 100mm insulation = 150mm RCS depth) are available upon request with a minimum lead time of one week.
