Elabrick Glasgow Mineral Brick Slips are lightweight mineral brick slips designed to create a bold, dark brick appearance without the weight and complexity of conventional masonry. The Glasgow colour features deep charcoal and black tones, making it ideal for modern façades, statement feature walls, contemporary renovation projects and external wall insulation systems.

This product is available in two variants: Brick Slip and Corner Brick Slip. The standard brick slips are used across flat wall areas, while the matching corner brick slips are designed to create a clean, continuous finish around external corners, window reveals, openings and façade edges.

Elabrick Glasgow Mineral Brick Slips can be used on both internal and external walls. Outdoors, they are suitable for contemporary façades, refurbishment projects and external wall insulation systems. Indoors, they can be used to create dark feature walls, fireplace surrounds and modern interior brick-effect finishes.

Lightweight and Easy to Install

With an approximate thickness of 4mm and a weight of around 4kg per m², Elabrick mineral brick slips are lightweight and practical to handle on site. They can be applied directly to suitable substrates and external wall insulation systems without the need for structural modifications.

Application

Apply Elabrick adhesive mortar to a clean, stable and tension-free substrate, then press the brick slips into the fresh mortar bed. The adhesive mortar also forms the joint colour, so separate pointing is not required. Once the slips are positioned, smooth the joints with a damp brush to create a neat and consistent finish.
