Solid for lights. Needed these for the external lighting on a dense board job. Sorted the thermal bridge issue, which is brioll. Docked a star as it took too much graft to screw in deep; didn't grip immediately strong.

Brill! Spun into the insulation board dead easy, 6mm key made it painless. Used them for the camera mount and washing line support - proper solid hold. Much better than the old plastic fixes I had that twisted up. Will only buy these EWI spiral dowels now. Sorted.

Great for cutting cold bridging. Anchor hold is decent for light bits but 5kg feels tight. Took effort to drive them in & need larger packs for proper jobs.

Brill for light fixes on the EWI system. Used the 85mm length on EPS boards. Does the job holds secure and keeps the thermal bridging down as promised. Takes more torque than I'd expected to get seated felt like a bit of a fiddle. Ended up with one that didn't fully seat flush either which is an annoyance you don't need on a job. I think they're dlightly expensive compared to alternatives but the specialized nature justifies it somewhat. Four stars because they work, but they could be better engineered for seating consistency.

Right palaver these are. Advertised holding weight felt totally exaggerated in practice. Barely handled a small outside light. Total plastic faff; they just feel cheap and unreliable. Wouldn't recommend for anything heavier than a feather.

absolute rubbish i am absolutely fuming! these anchors snapped right away when i screwed them in the 6mm socket stripped immediately but worst, they stained the EPS board black within minutes it has ruined the finish. a proper liability that means i have to replaster the whole section its awful quality and the cost of the repair far outweighs this rubbish cheap brittle kit avoid it

Secured my light fine low thermal bridgeing. It’s decent kit, but the 6mm socket was fiddly and felt loose when screwing. Plus the length options (50/85mm) are too restricted. Would of been five stars if the spec range was broader. Good value tho.

Absolute cobblers! These snapped clean in half trying to screw them into the EPS board. The 5kg capacity is an absolute joke. Flashing all over the thread made installation a right palaver, and the head still protrudes. Paid too much for this shoddy plastic junk; should've just bought the stronger metal anchors instead. Waste of site time.

It works, sure, but a total faff to turn into the EPS. Felt brittle too, one snapped trying to get it sewted. The 6mm sockt was sloppy on my driver—took a minute. hTey're just a bit expensive for a flimsy plastic part with a questionable 5kg max load.
