EWI Store Trade Basics – Washboy

The EWI Store Trade Basics – Washboy is a tool used when tiling and flooring and is designed to clean ceramic tiles following grouting.

It consists of a rectangular bucket with a removable grid that sits on top of the bucket. The grid helps to remove excess water from a sponge or mop, ensuring the cleaning solution is at the right concentration for the task at hand.

The bucket is fitted with a perforated impeller dispenser to ensure precise decompression of the Hydro Sponge. Resulting in no dirty water splashes and the work is faster and clean. The roller can be dismantled if necessary and the bucket can be used for other uses.

The washboy is commonly used to clean excess grout from tiles during installation, as well as to clean and maintain tiled and other hard floor surfaces.
