Felt Float – 10mm

The EWI Store Trade Basics Felt Float – 10mm is used to work the surface of cementitious materials, such as, concrete, plaster or stucco after it has been trowelled to further refine the texture and remove any imperfections or marks left by the trowel.

The felt  surface of the float helps in polishing the material by creating a gentle abrasion against the surface. It helps in removing minor blemishes, levelling out irregularities, and enhancing the sheen and smoothness of the material.

Application

You should work the felt float in a circular or figure-eight motion across the surface. The pressure applied and the speed of the movements depend on the desired level of refinement and polishing.
