Application

Preparation

• Mark out the fixing grid according to design and wind-load requirements.
• Check for services (cables and pipes) before drilling.
• Use rotary-only mode for hollow blocks; hammer mode for dense substrates.

Installation steps

1. Apply adhesive to insulation boards and place boards tightly with staggered joints.
2. Drill perpendicular through the insulation into the substrate.
3. Insert the fixing body and hammer the metal pin to seat it flush.
4. Do not over-drive or deform the insulation surface.
5. Install fixings per the specified pattern, adding extra around corners and openings.
6. Proceed with basecoat and reinforcement mesh as per system design.

Fixing pattern & density

• Typical density: 4–6 fixings per m², increasing in edge and high-load areas.
• Keep consistent spacing and avoid placing fixings too close to board edges unless specified.

Quality checks

• Perform pull-out tests if substrate condition varies.
• Replace any fixing that spins or fails to grip and re-drill as needed.
