Wood fibre insulation boards for internal insulation (Square Edge)
STEICOinternal is a high-performance wood fibre insulation board designed for internal insulation of masonry and timber frame walls. Manufactured using a wet process that utilises the wood’s natural lignin as a binder, the board delivers excellent thermal performance while maintaining high building physics safety.
Its diffusion-open and sorptive structure allows moisture to move naturally through the construction, helping to regulate indoor humidity levels and protect the building fabric from moisture-related issues. This makes STEICOinternal particularly suitable for refurbishment projects and breathable constructions.
The boards can be finished with recommended lime or clay plasters, supporting healthy, vapour-permeable wall build-ups. STEICOinternal has been independently tested and recommended by the German Institute for Building Biology Rosenheim and is produced from wood sourced from responsibly managed forests, certified to PEFC standards.
The Square Edge (SE) profile provides clean, straight edges, making installation simple and well suited to bonded internal insulation systems.
