PZ Countersunk Wood Screws (EWI to OSB) are hardened, yellow-zinc coated timber screws designed for secure fixing into timber and wood-based sheathing boards such as OSB, plywood, MDF and chipboard. Featuring a PZ countersunk head for a flush finish and a partial thread for excellent pull-down strength, these screws are ideal for timber construction and for fixing insulation support discs when installing EWI systems onto OSB substrates.

Engineered from hardened carbon steel with a durable anti-corrosion coating, these screws deliver secure, long-lasting performance in both structural timber and sheathing applications. Their sharp cutting thread ensures fast bite and reduced drive torque for efficient installation on site.

the 100mm partial thread is barely functional for EWI on OSB. Head started to strip before sitting flush and the cheap coating flaked immediately. Absolute joke and the box was short 5 or 6 fixings. Not worth the price.

Spot on for EWI fixing on OSB, the pull-down is brilliant. Just worry how long the yellow zinc will last compared to A2 SS long-term.

Drove easy. Pulled the EWI insulation tight on the OSB. Dead flush fit. Top kit.

JOKE kit. Partial thread did nowt OSB split. They snapped when driven hard. The PZ head kept camming out what a time sink. Only got 85 screws anyway! They ’re too soft avoid this muck.
