A high-performance hybrid polymer adhesive and sealant featuring TRIBRID® technology for exceptional strength, colour stability, and long-term flexibility. CT1 bonds to virtually all common construction materials, even in wet conditions or under water, making it a versatile choice for installation and maintenance work.

Important: CT1 is not a silicone. It is a special hybrid polymer adhesive & sealant.

Typical uses

CT1 Adhesive & Sealant is ideal for general construction, repair, and maintenance tasks where a strong, flexible, weather-resistant bond is required.
It may also be used alongside external wall insulation (EWI) systems for minor sealing or bonding tasks - e.g. around window reveals, service penetrations or junctions - where an additional flexible seal is desired.

Note: Always follow your EWI system manufacturer’s detailing guidance. CT1 is not a substitute for approved EWI sealants, tapes, trims or other system components.

*Not suitable for PP, PE, or PTFE.

Application

1. Store cartridges at room temperature before use.

2. Cut the cartridge nose and trim the nozzle to the desired bead size.

3. Using a mastic gun, apply a continuous bead to clean, sound substrates.

4. Tool within a few minutes for best finish. High initial grab often removes the need for additional fixings.

Cure & performance (at 23°C, 50% RH)

• ~24 hours: up to 6 mm bead

• ~48 hours: 7–12 mm bead

• Shelf life: 18 months from manufacture (unopened)
