worth every penny! Quartz key works brill, and the red colour makes sure you never miss a bit.
Brill! Red colour made seeing coverage dead easy. Good, reliable grip for the adh. Job done.
Very pleased with this primer. Good coverage, no strong smell, and dries fast. Made the render job look much more professional in the end.
Brill! The textured finish gives a top bond for the adhesive layer. Red colour meant foolproof coverage on site, saved me rework time.
brilliant stuff! The red grit texture is spot-on and keyed the wall perfectly. Absolutely zero fuss applying the adhesive later plus the colour made QC a doddle. Would buy again.
Brill. No fatf, ready to go. Got proper grip on a rubbish wall. Recommended.
Great stuff! Top key, job done.
Pricey for a primer but needed the key. This stuff did what it said it would. Needed a proper whisking before use to stop it going claggy which gives a decent enough key on blockwork. The red colour helps spot where youve been saves doubling up. Where it lost the stars is the price £60-odd notes ex VAT for one bucket feels like a faff honestly. You buy it cause it’s system specific not cos its amazing value. It's alright but I wont stop looking for cheaper alternatives.
Brill! Red coat dried fast, key was spot on for the render adhesive.
Proper Job. Cracking gear that locks walls down. Brill stuff. Goes on easy and the red colour means coverage is spot on every time. Gave the wall a great textured key for the boards. Saves massive time. Cheers EWI.
Absolute brilliance. Used on thirsty blockwork, the red showed coverage spot on. Quartz keying makes the adhesive stick solid. Highly recommended.
ok primer gets a key but slow curing was a pain. Price high for 20kg, and that narrow storage temp range is rough.
quality adhesion, needs better instruct.
Brill! The ready-mix application was spot on. That red colour showing the coverage meant we cracked on with the scratch coat fast. Quartz aggregate provides a solid key. Lifesaver.
Red colour means coverags is sound, grips warks well.
Saved time on suction control. Used too much per m2.
Proper grip, sound kit. Brill!
wasted four days trying to find this primer
as tracking was **USLESS**—a proper shambles. just buy Mapei instead of this stress.
Cracking primer, gives a bangin' key. Chuffed you can see the red colour clearly.
Sticks fine. Roller clean up was a right faff, took too long.
best primer I've used. Quartz key is perfect, coverage is easy with the red colour. Brlil!
solid primer. Red indicator was class for spotting misse bits. Good adh prep but the cleanup was slow.
Brill. Gave a proper grit key for the render. Red shows exactly where you've been, massive time saver. Straight out the tub.
Alright, but the colour backed off too much. Initial red guide was handy for coverage, but after waiting the full 24h the final coat looked inconsistent, far pinker than expected. Works fine, just slower and less visual punch than promised. Bit average really.
The red cloour is bang on, makes coverage quick and easy. Texture is quality stuff. Proper key!
Cracking primer. Sorted the high suction patches instantly and the quartz aggregate gives a brilliant key for the adhesive. The red colour is a total winner too - you know exactly where youve been. Made prep dead easy, works good. Delivery was fast, driver even helped bringing the tub closer. Top job.
Solid adh done. Quarz grit is fine, good coverage visual too. The main issue is that +5C minimum temp is a proper ball-ache on morning starts, restricting the job schedule. Had to splash a little water in to thin it slightly. Driver was helpful with the heavy can. Good stuff overall.
This is top kit. Red colour helps loads and it gives the adhesive great bite. Proper job.
I wasn’t sure if primer would make a big difference, but this one really does. It improved adhesion and stopped the surface from soaking up too much product. Excellent quality.
Honestly the best primer I have ever used. Proper quality, the grip is solid.
Solid stuff. Perfect key, red colour is brilliant. Sorted our prep quickly.
The red makes overlaps easy. Proper, proper keycoat.
Red colour is mint. Showed coverage spot on which saved us loads of time. Got a proper key.
Top quality! That red color guide made ensuring full coverage effortless. Felt dead solid. Worth the extra dosn for a job well sorted.
Brill keying, texture is spot on for the adh. Just needs a warning about light foam when mixing agg vigorously. Solid 4/5.
Good gear mate. That red colour meant I didnt have to double check coverage. The quartz key is strong so zero drag when the adhesive went on. Essential prep coat.
No solvent needed for cleanup. Sorted
Solid primer this. Rolled on easy, the red colour made coverage a doddle. Quartz aggregate gives a proper strong grip. Definitely superior to the compdtition. Top quality.
Cracking stuff. Red colour makes coverage easy gives adhesive proper grip.
Delivery tfacking was a mare and the tub leaked slightly. The main issue: the 12hr dry time is load of rot, took 18 hpurs to flash off which held up the job. Red indicator colour was also patchy and pink. Keyed the wall, so it gets 2 stars, but too muhc hassle and delay for the price.
Solid universal primer. Did the job on tricky blockwork & old masonry—proper univeesal gear seals up the wall suction a treat. Key (quartz) is mint for the next adh layer.
The red colour is absolutely brilliant for visual checks stops you missing patchy bits which saves loads of time. Honestly the bes thing about it. Why only 4 stars? That full 24h wait time before you can apply the adhesive is a pain. Totally messed up our schedule trying to move things faster. If it dried quicker it'd be 5/5 easy.
Good graft out of the tub, cleans up with water no dramas. Would use it again, but budget the slow turnaround.
Sorted this fast! That red colour shows coverage instantly. Aggregate gives the perfect key for the adhesive, quality product.
Pricey & slow, mate. Decent texture but mixing took effort due to settled agg. Took an age to dry; should be 6 hours for this price. Re-prime instructions are confusing.
adh is excellent really gives a cracking key for the boards. Red colour is a life saver for coverage. Only knock is the price—felt a bit steep compared to what's about (Weber/CT16), definitely paying the EWI tax here. Still worked perfectly, mind.
Sorted my walls right out. That red colour and quartz key means the topcoat bites properly. Brilliant gear!
solid adh but the 24hr cure is a pain.
Easy grab on thirsty wall. 24h adh wait is a pain.
Gave the wall cracking grip for the basecoat and the red color meant no missed spots. Saved on prep time. Job's a good 'un.
Sorted! Used this, gave the old wall proper backbone and the quartz key worked mint. Love the red color!
Used the EWI-310 Universal Primer before applying render, and it made a huge difference. It went on easily, dried quickly, and helped the topcoat stick perfectly. Really happy with the results!
Brilliant textured key. Even on thirsty walls. Red colour meant the site check was simple great product.
Proper stuff! Great texture from the aggregate & the red tint makes coverage a doddle. Tub was a bit stiff but quality pays.
Proper trade gear. It sorted the high absorbency meant I wasn't fighting the wall. That red colour is amazing for trackiny coverage saves time and product waste. Quartz texture gives dead great key for the adhesive. Highly recommend.
Quality primer. The red tint means zero patch miss. Quick drying. Five star.
Crackinyg stuff. The red made it dead easy.
Proper key from the aggregate, sorted my porous substrate issues quick. Red indicator is spot on.
Brilliant key for the adh, the red colour saves a fortune on re-dos. A bit thick, had to work the roller hard.
Red colour proofed coverage bang on. Lads sorted my collection quick, no messin.
Spot on primer. Red key is dead easy.
Spot on primer. That red lets you see exactly where you been. Grips like hell to the old paint.
Perfect! Quartz aggregate grip works good saved time. Didn't run. Red finish confirmed all covered. Competitively priced for how well it binds.
Good System Primer, but too dear. The keying with the quartz grit is spot on for the adhesive, worked fine on my absorbent substate (masonry and plaster). The red pigment saves chasing around checking coverage too, and clean-up's easy with just water. Downsides are: the tub arrived slightly bashed and the yield was tight—I needed more than expected. Plus, it definitely took more than 12hrs to fully cure in damp conditions, which slowed the job down a bit waiting the 24 hours. Quality product, but pricey compared to a generic undercoat.
This primer is mint. Gave a great key to the weak substrate.
Had to bodge it a bit and add water, against instructions, just to move it. Felt diluted and the key wasn't great on that bit of blockwork. 12hr wait is a right pain too.
rubbish. Project ruined by delays and faulty primer
absolutely awful i'm fuming. this order was severely delayed no proactive updates at all, the rude driver damaged my gate then left heavy tubs exposed to pouring rain. SERIOUSLY bad logistics for sixty quid primer ex VAT!
the tub was already leaking when it arrived looking tampered with. the worst part? it's meant to be 12 hours drying time but this stuff was tacky for nearly 36 hours it ruined my schedule entirely. And the colour was rubbish it dried a MINGING greenish-red mess impossible to track coverage properly. i followed all the steps but my adhesive kept peeling off later. total waste of money and time. never again.
The red indicator is proper useful. Bang on grip for the adhesive; it's easy application and a quick job!
cracking stuff but the dry tuime kills.
Cracking key from the quartz texture, spot on adhesion. Red color saves a heap of time too.
Brill! Red dye is proper handy and it gives a great key on a thirsty wall. The quartz texture works. Only niggle: wish the 24hr wiat time was faster.
The agg key is solid for adh, good stuff. Bit expensive though, and dry time felt a touch long, needs a hard mix.
EWI-310 is spot on. Ready to use, the red colour saves a headache seeing coverage. Quartz aggregate is *the* perfecy key. Went further than expected, cracking value. Worth the extra.
Quartz makes it grip like mad, no messin, just red prep.
Killed the suction fast. Red key git is brilliant.
Great job. Proper grit for bonding!
Brill! Red coat makes coverage a doddle. The quartz key means the adhesive grabs hard. Proper job this stuff.
Saved me a day! Red texture works perfect.
Proper job this. The red quartz texture is spot on for bonding. Dried dead fast. Chuffed with the result.
Can't beat this stuff. The red colour showed every patch I missed & the quartz gives the adhesive a solid key. Proper job.
EWI-310 worked brill on chalky bases, perfect adh key created. Drying took longer than 12h though.
Brill! Gave the wall a cracking key (quartz works a treat), and the red shows up gaps immediately. Saved the faff of mixing powder, just rolled it on.
Only dropped a star 'cause I found the coverage felt tight on the old, rough render patches, so consumed a bit more product than the sheet suggested. Also, wash up claims water, but that red stain really sticks to overalls, needed scrubbing!
Solid prep coat, definitely recommended for the bond.
Red colour helps loads with coverage. Key/texture is perfect. Brill!
Proper Keying Surface & Absolute Lifesaver on Site. Sorted.
Chuffed with this Universal Primer. Honestly, the quartz grit gives such a proper key for the adhesive, meant it went on easily and firm. Red colour is brill too can't miss a spot makes the covegrage crystal clear.
Was ready to use just a quick stir. Zero fuss.
Delivery driver was spot on got the heavy tubs right where I needed them. Also the customer support helped me nail the prep specs before ordering perfect service no messing about.
best primer used! The quartz gives great grip and the red colour sped up coverage. Clean up was effortless.
brill! Took the suck right out, excellent key from the quartz. Top product.
quartz grip is weak. The long dry time over 12hrs, kills the whole build schedule.
Amazing! Gave brilliant mechanical key, plus the red colour is spot on.
best primer I've used. Cracking adhesion the red is an absolute godsend.
Red primer is bob on, gicves next coat proper grab. Sorted!!
Red colour made it quick work, perfect key for the boards.

Sorted, red key works good. Saves job tlime.
Brilliant key. Red drying means no guessing, absolute spot on.
Brill kit! Ready to go, gives the wall a proper strong key. Does what it needs to but the red pigment took ages to clean off my kit.
Best primer I've used. Killed the suction immediately and gave a professional textured base. No mixing either!
Absolute top primer. Proper textured key and bond is rock solid. Goes on easy and the red bleed helps. Sorted, buy this.
needed two extra tubs, coverage is terrible. Took way over 12hrs to finally go off too. Sent wrong size anyway, waste of time and budget.
Does the job, but took its time. Decent primer this. The adhesion is spot on when using it before the adhesive – exactly what you want from it.But a couple of things stop it from being 5 stars. Firstly, found that on a slightly more absorbent block wall, it just absolutely soaked the primer up (used a fair bit more than the consumption guide said), and even had to wait for an extra coat in one spot, which ruined the day’s schedule a bit. Also, the main coat drying time definitely felt longer than 12 hours – couldn't properly get onto the next layer until the morning after, making it a right **palaver**. Even though it’s ‘ready-to-use,’ you need a good solid stir/mix, too. Also, the texture from the aggregate felt a bit rougher than I needed for the finish I was going for. Still good quality, gives a solid texture, and the red colour makes sense for coverage check. Maybe a tad expensive for the volume. **Solid kit overall.**
Proper key and texture on the wall. The red dye saved lioads of time checking coverage. Sorted.
Good primer. That quartz grit keys the surface brilliantly for the adhesive. Needed serious welly when rolling, though; getting a consistent, even coat took more graft than it should have.
Proper good grip, spot-on red tracking. Sticks a treat, works brilliant.
Brill! The quartz aggregate gives a proper key and the red colour means you cant miss any bits. No mixing needed either. Top bit of kit.
brill kit key texture is bang on for the adhesive. Good coverage too. Takes 25 hrs to properly cure and felt pricey for the volume. That's why 4 stars.
rill prep. Red colour sorted coverage. Price felt high though.
ace product! Gives the proper textured key. Red colour makes sure the job is done righyt.
Red tint is class. Stops double priming that drys quick.
Brill key, works spot on. That 4hr re-prime waiting time is a right pain though.
Great primer, dried super quick. Quartz texture's spot on for adhesive. A proper job every time.
red coverage saves hours. proper grip. amazing!
Decent key, red guide is handy. Only lost a star as that 24h dry period dragged a bit.
Brill stuff, provided a proper key for the adh. Red colour good check. Only minor snag was it felt a bit thick to roll and the unit price is definitely steep.
Killed the suction on old block work, and the quartz grip is spot on for the adhesive. Ready to use. Sorted.
Proper stuff! Red colour makes coverage bang on and the texture is mint.
Proper job. Red tint and the quartz keying is dead easy. Fantastic bonding power!
This primer is brilliant! Gives a proper key for the adhesive, and the red colour means you never miss a spot. Sorted.
This red stuff gives an easy solid base for the adhesive. Stops guesswork fast finish.
rUBBISH. This primer created ZERO key for the adhesive. Prepped perfectly but the bonding simply failed boards slid off the substrate. Wasted labour & 72 quid down the drain. Absolute joke switching back to Ceresit CT16 immediately.
Proper Kit. Brill product. Went on a doddle, the red colour meant I could easily see where I'd covered. Adhesive grabbed nicely onto that textured finish, no suking or slipping. Dried bang on time too. Proper job, client is chuffed. Sorted.
easy to roll on, proper grip from the quartz. Red colour stops you missing spots, brill.
zawful stuff djdnt mix dried pink not red ruined the base coat on the substrate adhesion failed fast because the quartz felt like sand total pants £72 waste now Im delayed!
Top quality primer. Great key on the porous wall, that red colour saves so much hassle.
Brilliant stuff. Superior bond every time. Good key on dusty render.
Gives brilliant key for the adhesive. Ready-to-use and went on dead easy, the red helps too. Sorted my job in haf the time.
Decent primer. Adhesion spot on.
eWI-310 is proper kit. Quartz key works perfect wall absorbency locked down and that red colour stops all faffing on site. Top performance good price.
wORST EWI primer I have ever used. After waiting 24 hours the stuff STILL hadn't fully cured & flaked off the wall when I tested it. My job DELAYED, AND the customer service team gave me the absolute RUNAROUND when I called up.
£72 down the drain, A JOKE.
proper good grip, spot on!
Used this for EWI prep. Does the job exactly, the quartz agg leaves a proper key for the adhesive which saves loads of faff, and the red colour is mint for spotting coverage patches. That's easily 5 stars stuff right there. Knocked a star off only because I needed quick technical advice about re-priming a dried area and it took two full days for them to reply to the email. That amount of waiting loses us hours on a job. Good kit, but only order if you don't anticipate any hiccups.
Fantastic! Red primer gives proper grab.
Worth the cash. Made sure coverage was done. Top grip.
Brill. Quartz gave a proper key. Killed all the suction. Red means I see everything.
knocked back the suction brill. The quartz gives proper bite, and the red colour means I don't miss a patch. Job's a good 'un.

Proper stuff. Red colour guarantees full coverage. Spot on.
Great key red coat spot on.
The key is superb, takes the adh well. Red indicator saves faff. Only complaint is the protection against rapid drying instructions were confusing for internal work near a draft. 12hr wait feels too long to babysit it.
proper job on the keying, but the drying time took too long. Held up the job.
Proper bond on weak walls. Top kit. Red colour made coverage easy + worked well even near +5C.
EWI-310 did the job. Spot on for providing key tack for the adh on porous brick. But it's a right faff to mix & it ran out quicker than the stated consumption rate suggested. Long 24hr wait for the next layer felt a stretch.
Brill! Quartz aggregate gives a wicked adh key. The red dye is a proper lifesaver for checking coverage. BUT the 12 hour drying time is a schedule killer. Sorted by the CS team though on compatibility, cheers.
Solid performance grips like glue. A good paddle mix is needed though wasn't ready-to-use out the tub.
Pwain to mix the stuff. Took ages to dry, mate. Way too slow.
the red colour made priming dead easy, top keying.
Great bond (adh) due to the quartz but had to put serious graft in mixing the agg. Drying was closer to 14hrs slows the job.
Proper key for the render. Red colour coverage was dead easy. Spot on price.
Has real teeth to it. Goes on quick and red. The best tack for your render. Brill!
Proper primer, saved us loads of graft on the smooth substrate. The red colour is a total gamechanger, you can fly and know you haven't missed a spot. Gave the perfect key for the adhesive. Much better than that clear cheap stuff you get. Definately ordering this again.
Primer was rock solid! Red indicator is keying genius, makes site workflow quicker. Brill stuff.
Brilliant gear! Quartz key is spot on and the red helps.
Solid product. Quartz aggregate gives a wicked key on difficult substrates. Red color is brilliant. Drying felt long in ocol air though, and delivery was a bit slow. Still worth the price for the adh grip.
Brill! Proper good key for the adhesive bond works good. That red colour is spot on for making sure coverage is perfect.
Proper Job Primer. Spot on gear. Red colour shows every bit so you dont miss a patch. Adhesion is solid subsequent basecoat went on a treat. Sorted.
Adh perfect, lboody red stains kit.
great keying, price a bit steep.
Sorted the suction issue dead quick. Red colour saved time. Top key.
Amazing! Roller glided on smooth red finish meant zero misses. Keyed the wall proper solid.
Brilliant. Leaves a wicked key and that red shows every patch. Goes a long way too dead efficient!
Red colour sorted the workflow. Texture spot on.
Brill stuff. Quartz aggregate is perfect for the basecoat adhesive. Red makes sure you don't miss patches, job's a doddle.
Superb result! The quartz grip is ace.
Adh was brilliant on old walls, but drying time dragged in the wet.
no grab at all. basecoat just kept sliding off. totally useless and ruined my schedule.
This gave a brilliant key and sorted our adhesion issues. The red texture stuff shows coverage well. Used way less product too. Spot on!
Proper Job. Bob on stuff. Brushed on a doddle and the red colour means you can’t miss a spot. Texture gave the adhesive a proper key. Sorted.

Red primer is spot on. Quartz gave a great key for the adhesive. Nice one.
Brilliant adhesion, the quartz grip is top class. Red colour made it a doddle to see where I had been. Top primer.
Great bit of kit. EWI-310 rolls on easy and the texture gives proper grip for the adhesive layer. Red colour saves loads of time for coverage, only issue is waiting the full 24hrs for scheduling reasons. Solid foundation.
Proper key, stuck fast. Top wuality stuff!
Red colour made application spot on!
Gives brilliant grip. That red colour is quality control.
Honestly, the red colour saves a job. Gave a strong key and adhesion was spot on.
Proper job! Killed the suction quick drying, and that quartz gave a brilliant key. Easiest primer I
’ve used.
great stuff! Brill key for the adh & the red colour helps a lot. Only niggle, the 12hr dry time felt way short in the recent damp UK weather.
Top bit of kit! Proper gritty key on the wall and the colour confirms coverage.
Top stuff. Great red key coat.
Knocked the suck out the wall, sorted.
Proper stuff for a weak substrate, the strengthening effect was Amazing! The grip is Brill cos of that quartz, and the red finish is great for checking coverage. Only 4 stars, tho. Applying it was a grind; that textured product absolutely overloaded the brush and the roller was uneven, needed a lot of force. The 12-hour dry time meant I ended up waiting a full 30 hours before doing the adh, which absolutely stalled the schedule. Clean up *could be better* too. It functions perfectly, but just prepare for a slow spread and a long waiting period.
Awful. Rubbiah. You buy this cos it says it dries RED! Needed red to track coverage, SIMPLE! This garbage came out PALE PINK MUCK... Utterly useless. Couldn't track coverage, facade is now a total disaster area because I don't know where the next adhesibve will hod up. Falsre information from EWI, a bloody disgrace. Stick to Weber if you want onesty, at oleast white/clear is predictable. I wasted 3 hours cleaning up this mess, NEVER buying thjs again. A JOKE.
Adhesion bob on, but 24h wait cost us time.
Red’s brilliant, job sorted.
Ready-mix saved loads of time and the quartz gave a superior key for the EWI adehsive. Sorted!
Superb prep layer. Red colour coding's genius for quick coverage checks, quartz keying surface is sound. Brill.
it's ok primer but needed a proper sohve to mix felt very gritty hen roklling out. Took longer than 12 hours to dry & coverage was not bang on, came out patchy red in the light.
Shocking gear. Went on pink and dried blotchy; looked like a map! Had to scrap taht whole section massive time loss. The quartz aggregate is like gravel made the topcoat a nightmqare. Avoid this shoddy gear.
