When installing EWI systems, a Premium Aluminium Starter Track is essential. Positioned just above the DPC layer at the wall's base, this track provides a sturdy and protective foundation for insulation boards. The Premium Aluminium Starter Track is constructed from robust aluminium and can endure harsh weather conditions like intense temperatures, torrential rain, and powerful winds. Not only does it bear the insulation's weight, but it also remains unaffected by external factors. Furthermore, aluminium's inherent resistance to corrosion ensures the track won't rust or degrade over time. Given its placement at the wall's base, this resistance is crucial due to potential exposure to moisture and corrosive materials. Additionally, its lightweight nature ensures a swift and straightforward installation process.

Please note that this starter track does not come with any pre-installed mesh. We highly recommend buying this Starter Track with a Clip-on Profile, which clips onto the front edge and can then be meshed into the basecoat layer. The width of the starter track should match the thickness of your chosen insulation board.
