brill stuff to use. The uPVC bead is spot on and the mesh gives excellent key for the render base coat—it feels strong. Defo saves time on the 90 degree angles. My only gripe is the length. A 3m option would be better as 2.5m was just short for a full window reveal which is a right faff. Also found the price point a bit steep for only a 2.5m stick, especially as there was a tiny warp on one end. Good product overall though, will use again.

Brilliant stuff saved me a headache. This uPVC bead is proper solid quality. Used the 2.5m length for my 90-degree angles around a new window install and it was spot on for cutting. It feels substantial and much better than the cheap plastic tat I used previously. It was dead easy to embed. The fibreglass mesh feels well sturdy and actually *grabbed* the basecoat perfectly didn’t have to keep messing about with it. Fitted flush right into the corner—didn't come warped like a lot of other deliveries so that's a major bonus. It's stopped the corner stress points already and given me that razor-sharp line I was aiming for. No signs of those tiny hairline cracks that always appear down the line, so chuffed with that. Good price point considering how decent the materials feel. Delivered exactly when they said, and the driver was sound, gave me a ring beforehand. Highly recommend, buying a second batch next week. No issues whatsoever.

brill stuff. The beading created a crisp angle, and the fibreglass mesh keyed in mint with the mix. Massive upgrade from the usual metal rubbish, stops the staining issue dead. Deducted one star 'cos it was a faff cutting accurately, took longer than I'd hoped. And the PVC felt only decent, could do with being slightly thicker for proper impact zones. Still, sorted the job.

Sorted the corner, coating needs attention.
Brill bit of kit. We default to uPVC now because it means no messing about with rust bleed later on, which this bead guarantees. Used it on the window reveals—it cuts quick and gives you a dead straight line where it matters. Mesh reinforcement took the basecoat well too.
The downside, and it’s the only reason I’ve docked a star: removing the thin protective film or coating on it was a right proper fiddle. Took ages and was an unnecessary time drain on site. Metal beads don't give you that faff.
That said, performance is sound and it fitted up quick once it was ready. Will buy again, but please sort the coating out.

Spot on, this uPVC bead made light work of all the external angles and saved a tonne of install time. Way superior to the standard metal beads because the slight flexibility avoids cracking on uneven walls. The mesh qulity is robust and it makes achieving a perfectly perpendicular corner so much easier. Fantastic kit, great price for the long-term value it adds, will absolutely order again.

Brilliant bit of kit for the tricky job. The 'No Nose' profile meant I didn't waste time modifying a standard bead for the window reveal—saved me a heap of hassle and it’s bang on for flush rendering. Quality seems solid feels durable enough for the exterior corners. The white is a spot-on match too. Deducted a star as it felt a bit pricey compared to what standard beads go for and honestly the amount of unnecessary packaging waste needs sorting out by EWI. Sound product though.

Easy to cut and the reinforced mesh gave a proper key for the render around the reveals. Saved me chasing a small crack that was starting by the window frame already. Used the No-Nose profile for all the window/door reveals which sat completely flush when setting it against the insulation board—saves effort when skimming.
The 2.5m length is excellent fewer joins required which boosts efficiency.
Service from the sales assistant before the purchase and the delivery driver helping unload the awkward 2.5m sticks was brill.
Lost a star primarily on quality vs cost. The mesh felt lighter/thinner than the competitor product I usually run with. I also noticed a slight warp on one of the pieces right out of the wrapper and the PVC felt slightly brittle when cutting. For £3.09 ex VAT per length I feel this is priced too high when I know the same 'No Nose' spec is closer to £2.50 from others. Works fine, but QC needs to tighten up if they want to defend that cost.

Proper quality bead, didn't cheap out on the PVC. That is key for straightness round a window reveal. Fibreglass mesh held solid too, went straight in the render mix and no sign of warping when wet, which always saves time and headache over trying to straighten rubbish kit. Delivery was spot on, ahead of the estimate which got us out of a pinch. Can't fault EWI, paying the small premium for this quality is well worth it.

aWFUL. i should have just paid a bit more mate, sales guy gave totally bogus advice and landed me with this cheap ljikov bead. tried to trim for a reveal and it SNZAPPED EASY its such cheap uPVC. the angle isnt 90-degree its warped making it impossible to get a true straight line for the render. mesh looks lfimsy too and peeled off almost straight away. not uv proof either as some qarped after a week in the sun. Complete waste of tkme and effort dont buy ths rubbish.

5 Stars - Essential Beading. Superior Quality.Got these corner beads for a new batch of external reveals and they are spot on. All 2.5m lengths arrived straight—properly protected and didn't have a single warped one, which is key.
The reinforced fibreglass mesh is incredibly robust, you can tell it's not cheap stuff, and it gives a great grab/key for the first coat of render. This feels far superior to the flimsy alloy beads I had last month, no worries about staining the finished render now. Fantastic upgrade over traditional metal beads.
Lighter than expected which made handling them dead easy on site. Cut clean, fitted the angle first time with no messing. The consistency of the profile saved loads of time during installation.
Website description was accurate and delivery team were sound. New go-to supplier for beading. Best price for this quality, too.

Turned up quicker than expected and the 2.5m lengths were straight as an arrow, fair play to the courier. The "No Nose" version is exactly what I needed for these shallow window reveals. Really chuffed with the finish—sharp, clean corner line and the fibreglass mesh pressed into the basecoat no bother at all. At this price, it’s a proper bargain for this level of quality and spec. Yes, 3.0m lengths would save time on big elevations, but finding this specific UV mesh / No Nose bead anywhere else isn't happening, believe me, I checked. Great component that saves hassle. Sound job.

this bead is absolute RUBBISH! after waiting AGES for delivery they sent 4/5 bent and broken. the pvc was flemz and SPLINTERED when i tried cutting it, total time waste... the esh just detached right off the profile. the "no nose" gave a shocking finish, couldn't hold the line, plus its already YELOWING after 7 dags exposure. avoid this shoddy gear unless you enjoy wasting days patching a skim job. awful!!!

Did a demanding window corner job, brill finish. The 'No Nose' worked perfectly for a clean line, mesh grabs the basecoat great. Bit expensive on delivery, and a length had a warped end, otherwise perfect.

Proper solid bead fits the EWI system beautifully. No Nose design sorted out a flush finish round my doors easy. The material feels high quality—seems genuinely UV proof. The driver was sound and the delivery was proper fast, saved me a morning. Will buy all my beading here from now on. Five stars.

Not amazing. The PVC felt brittle and scratches easy, and the profile depth wasnt perfectly consistent on the 2.5m length. This made getting the 90 degree lijne cpean a rewl faff on site. It does the job, but paying neatrly four quid for beading htis stiff feels like too much, esp when the delivery driver causfd a load of hassle rescheduling the drop.

wHAT A JOKE. The packaging used for this 'no nose' bead clearly implied the end caps were included! its a TOTAL PALAVER they cant even manage the correct BOXING. I paid a premium price for this substandard rubbish, now im off to the merchants yard just to waste half a day sorting out their quality control failure. DONT BOTHER. appalling service and QC!!

Product quality is just okay for the price paid, feels flimsy compared to other brands profile. Awful! That slight bend in the 2.5m length took extra faffing time just to align the bloody thing straight on the angle, totally not worth the labour hassle. Packaging was poor too, had one end crushed due to tight stacking. Will try elsewhere next time.

this pvc bead is a complete joke! warped into a proper corkscrew and was too short. it crackefd if you lookec at it & the mesh detached right away. payed too much for this tat when skeels is cheaper. total waste of money! Awful.

not bad. Does the core job but needs a rethink on the mateeial. Mesh seems sound glass fibre looks alright but the PVC is dead brittle to touch felt dreally iffy handling it. Honestly think the advertised 'impact resistance' is a kload of waffle; it's too easy to dent the plastic edge. Prie is too steep for plastic this flimsy.
The aeshtetic finish wasn't perfectly straight either, it ran slightly uneven which is a nightmare on etxernal angles. Also had a minor crack appear near the end when the render was fully setting, not ideal at all. Required trimming too as it was slightly over the stated 2.5m which wastes time. Shame about the plastic quality cause it has potential. Fair play to the driver though he was ound, helped me with the long length out back.

Right used these beads for external corner reveals. Quality is way superior to the flimsy ones, this PVC stays true and cuts easily. Keeps a dead crisp 90 which saves loads of hassle finishing up. Delivery tracking was spot on too. Top job.

Used these on the windows needing that proper No Nose detail. Price was spot on (checked against T Dex they charge a few quid more). It's a proper solid bead felt robust, not flimsy junk that bends in transit. Lads said it saved them fiddling about because it came off the shelf perfectly straight. Gave us a razor sharp edge and the fibreglas mesh embedded nice and quick. Top quality kit, brilliant value for money too. Five stars.

Honestly, miles better than the thin plastic rubbish I was using before. Got fed up of 2.5m lengths arriving bowed—but every one of these was straight and true, spot on for the window reveal. The uPVC and that glass mesh feels proper strong, gives a lovely crisp 90-degree corner.
It slips in a treat and beds down quick, the mesh integrates flawless with the basecoat. Decent money for the quality. Won't be back patching cracks next winter. I'm purchasing this specific type again. Top notch, easy job.

This is cheap gear masqureading as professional kit. It's brittle PVC snapped instantly when sedcured. Mesh started unraveling so much for "reinforced." Plus, the bead wasn't 2.5m, seriously? Came in a bent box days late, typical poor service that pushes back my schedule. Couldn't sit flush. Total wste of £3.71.

Dead true corners. Got a proper clean external finish on the window reveals and the fibreglass mesh gave a sound key for the basecoat—significantly reduced my crack concerns. It’s definitely reliable, robust kit and cuts easy enough, which saves hassle. Dropped the star because the prce felt slightly high, especially as I spotted what looked like a cheaper alt nearby after ordering. Would still recommend, but reckon the value could be a tad better.

Right palaver just finding this plastic angle piece couldnt find it for love nor money having to type in different phrases every two seconds. SORT YOUR SEARCH OUT. Spent 20 mins searching only to get some flimsy tat. The bead snapped too easy when i cut it and it feels cheap the mesh started shedding. Waste of time and effort for such rubbish pvc.

this bead is rubbish. packaging was pathetic so it turned up bent to buggery. but the main issue is the angle isnt even 90 deg properly impossible to line up plumb! flimsy mesh just tore off when i started to trowel up. wasted hours messing about with this instead of buying proper gear like renderplas for the same money. complete faff.

alright, but a few faffy bits—check your measurements. Bought 10 of these for a full house render job. The beads function fine, they hold the 90 degree and the no-nose profile is adequate for a cleaner edge, but I expected better quality control for the price. Biggest gripe: the linear meterage isn't bang on 2.5m. Lost a few millimeters on every single one, which is a massive pain when trying to plan full runs without joins. The PVC itself also feels a bit lightweight, maybe too flexible for a proper thick coat of heavy render—my last brand felt much more rigid. Installation was slightly fiddly, too. The fibreglass mesh seems too thin compared to the competitors and actually separated from the plastic strip on one of them just while handling it on the scaffold. The mesh wings also caught in the first pass when bedding them in. Delivery process was shocking: damaged packaging, and the driver just dumped the box out in the rain despite my note. Waited three days for a simple email reply from support on the required render coat thickness. It'll do the job and function as a bead (which is 'Brill!' for the basics), but all the small issues and the slightly-off advertised length push it right into the 'average' category. Next time, I'll go back to my previous supplier, mind. It just added unnecessary faffing time to the job.

Top Bit of Kit. The lad told me to use these specific beads for the window reveals and honestly I was sceptical about paying a bit more (felt pricey compared to others). But these absolutely smashed the expectation he set for them, and that's saying something. The PVC felt proper dense, not thin and brittle like the dodgy ones. They cut dead clean on the mitre block—no shattering the plastic or snagging the mesh, which is the main time killer normally. Mesh coverage is bang on too; embedded right into the base coat instantly. Gave us a dead crisp 900 corner and saved a good ten minutes per reveal just getting that line locked down. Rock solid stuff, I know why he insisted now. Will be grabbing these as my standard. Proper job. Sorted.

The PVC extrusion is too thin, ebad elt overly light and wasn't perfectly straight out the box so installatuon was fiddly on the render reveal corner. Expected better rigidity for this price point, support was slow, and it needs fixing adhesive that wasn't included or detailed clearly. It's doing the job, but only just barely.

Proper Job, Absolutely Sound Bead. Slotted right into the basecoat with no messing about, went in straight and stayed there. That’s always the worry with beads. This uPVC is decent quality, felt better in the hand than the last lot I had. The lengths were spot on 2.5m which is always helpful, and the sharp 90-degree edge made the finish on the window reveal look cracking. Easy to cut too. The mesh overlap was thick and proper reinforced – good for avoiding cracks, seems much more UV and impact proof so should last ages without trouble. Arrived when they said it would. Excellent value compared to the local builders merchant prices, worth getting the exact 'No Nose' profile off the site as it's exactly what I needed. Will be using these again for all my rendering work. Sorted.

Good bead mesh takes the scratch coat brilliant. Cut to size dead easy. Only dropped a star cos the PVC is just too flexible when setting out a run. Took more time than it should've to keep it absolutely true for the float finish. But it's cheap so it's fine. Will order again. Shipping cost could be lower, mind.

shocking RUBBISH. The tape sliced right thru the uPVC on multiple beads mate making them uesless—absolute joke of packaging! This stuff is so brittle it snapped cutting the window reveal bead even with sharp snips, wasting materials and xcausing serious faff on site. It warped straight out the box and the gibreglass mesh adhesion is non-existent. Cost-to-quality ratio is shockingly bad, not to mentkion waiting all day for delivery and customer service was completely condescending qwhen I tried to track it. Never again, sort it out EWI!

struggled with this bead all afternoon. Kept springing away from the corner; far too flexible to set true without fighting it. Ended up having to pin it just to get it straight. The mesh tore almost immediately and its definitely not impact resistant

One was proper bent too, which was a right pig to fettle on site. Wasted a good 30 minutes wrestling a bent bit of uPVC. The quality is naff for that price point. Just get 'em cheaper elsewhere. Spot on. Finally, a bead that doesn't give you grief. Seriously, this Likov bead from EWI is spot on. My contractor even commented on the quality when we were setting it out said it was a 'proper job' compared to some other stuff he’s seen coming through. The best bit? That 2.5m length felt right for the window reveals; zero messing about cutting back waste like you do with the usual 2.4m bits floating about. The fibreglass mesh feels proper tough, too; it pulled into the scratch coat dead straight, and that bit of extra durability means I'm not sweating about cracking come winter. Held the line perfectly. Made getting that 90-degree reveal crisp simple. Well worth the money when you factor in the time it saves chasing cracks later on. Great stuff, brill.

Decent quality bead, but you pay for it. It does what it should. Squares up the 90° reveals properly, and the fibreglass mesh feels stiff enough for the basecoat to key in strong. It extbolds solid kit, no arguing about the performance or the No Nose profile. But let extbolds be straight extmdash the price is a touch high for a basic length of PVC trim. I know others selling similar kit for a few pence cheaper a stick. When you're running twenty lengths, that adds up quick. Quality is spot on, just needs a sharper unit rate, EWI.

Keys straight into the scratch coat, happy with the compatibility and the finish. Price felt decent too. It felt slightly thinner gauge PVC than my usual brand, which wasn't ideal for rigidity, but once it's set it's a good robust corner. Courier delay was the other let down.

This corner bead is great structural kit. Got a dead straight line round the window. Strong fibreglass mesh and it performs. Dropping a star as the mesh wings felt too narrow. Made keying the basecoat over that edge a bit of a faff.

Proper Job - Miles Better Than Metal: Chuffed with this kit. Needed a decent corner bead to sort the perennial cracking around a window reveal and this did the job. The uPVC is robust but still cut a doddle and it went on dead straight – no warping like the old stuff. That substantial mesh means it bonded spot on with the basecoat and seems solid as a rock now. Plus delivery was quick and perfectly packaged. Excellent quality definitely recommend to anyone doing render work. Sorted.

Awful. Matd, paying £3.71 for this cheap tat is a joke. It was warped out the pack and bpowed under the wet base coat. Dodgy brittle plastic that chips easily and the mesh frayed badly. Total fatf trying to get it straight. Poor value.
