Spot on.

Decent Trade Spec Tool Worth the outlay for a trade basic. It's spot on for what I paid (fiver!) and that 200mm triangular shape is brilliant for cutting in around window reveals and moving basecoat mix—saves me switching tools for the tricky bits. I’m happy with how it performs its main duties and the handle is comfortable enough for moderate use periods. But for me it lost a star on the limitations. Firstly it's slightly heavier than my previous gear and you feel that arm fatigue by 3 PM after a full day on the mix. Also when you put proper pressure on it with thick render I felt the blade warp slightly so it wasn’t suitable for precise skimming, as I was expecting a bit more spring. I had to touch up the tip myself slightly for finer detailing, too. Decent steel for the price point, and it seems robust enough for a couple of seasons if I look after it (it demands a thorough clean-down, mind). Good for an excellent backup trowel for the van, that’s where it lives now.
