Weberpral M Monocouche Render

Weberpral M is a BBA approved, through-coloured, monocouche render. It comes ready-mixed in 25kg bags and creates a decorative finish on external walls made of brick or block. Weber render offers ease of application, as it can be applied using a spray machine, and due to the fact that it is through-coloured there is no need to paint afterwards. Weberpral M can be finished to create a range of textures and styles, providing a weather resistant render surface that is long-lasting and durable.

Preparation

Weberpral monocouche render comes as a dry mix in 25kg bags. The bag needs to be mixed with 5-5.5 litres of clean potable water using an electric paddle mix. It is recommended the render is mixed for 5 minutes to achieve the required consistency. Weber render is then ready for use. For best results, use as little water as possible and mix to give a workable consistency.

Application

Spray roughcast: to achieve a spray roughcast finish using the Weberpral moncouche, the first pass must be spray applied at a thickness of 10mm, before it is ruled off level. A second texture pass is applied between 1 and 2 hours after the first, taking the total thickness up to a minimum of 15mm.

Scraped finish: a scraped finish can be achieved by Weberpral M in either one or two passes to achieve a flat, level surface. The minimum thickness that should be achieved is 18mm, with a maximum thickness of 28mm. Once set but before fully hardened, the render should be scratched back 3mm (therefore a 28mm thickness will be scratched back to 25mm).

Dry dash finish: Weberpral M can achieve a dry dash finish when applied using a render pump. Weberpral render should be applied in two passes; for a 15mm thickness, a 10mm layer should be applied first to achieve a smooth, flat surface. Once this layer has hardened (after 1-16 hours), a dash receiver coat should be applied to take the total thickness up to 5mm. Aggregate should then be lightly tamped into the render to ensure a strong bond.

Application Conditions

  • Hardening times may vary according to climatic conditions.
  • The render should not be applied on hot substrates that are exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Weberpral M should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C or if there is any risk of frost damage within the first 24 hours.

  • For professional use only.
