Rockwool cavity wall insulation is a semi-rigid, full-fill insulation solution for external masonry cavity walls and for the thermal insulation and acoustic protection of masonry party walls between dwellings. Offering excellent thermal performance, the Cavity Wall Batts slow the rate of heat transfer, effectively maintaining the thermal comfort of your home while also providing superior sound protection.
If you’re looking for a cavity wall insulation material with excellent fire safety properties, the Rockwool Cavity Wall Batts are the ideal solution. With fire safety being so topical and of such importance, the Rockwool insulation goes extra lengths to offer complete assurance against the threat of fire. With its ability to withstand temperatures of up to 1,000ºC (1,800ºF), Rockwool insulation helps to effectively contain and prevent the spread of flames. Rockwool Full Fill Cavity Wall Batts are rated as Euroclass A1 completely non-combustible – this is the highest rating that an insulation material can achieve.
When you choose Rockwool for your cavity wall insulation system, you also gain the added benefit of acoustic insulation. The open porous structure of the stone wool means that the Cavity Wall Batts are able to absorb and reduce the impact of sound, enabling homeowners to enjoy a comfortable, quiet internal environment. In highly populated areas or for homes that are within close proximity to a busy road, the benefits of this are unrivalled.
Rockwool Full Fill Cavity Wall Batts are lightweight, easy to handle, quick to cut and provide a close fit against brick and blockwork. The insulation is also completely water repellent, thereby preventing the passage of water from the outer to the inner leaf.
