Our metal pin mechanical fixings – coming in three sizes – are ideal for professional installation of the insulating boards onto the substrate. Made from plastic bodies and metal rods, they reduce thermal bridging to a minimum, ensuring that the system stays as effective as possible.
EWI-730 Metal Mechanical Fixings come in a choice of four lengths, allowing them to be used on a variety of thicknesses of insulation. The metal mechanical fixing is made from a metal pin with plastic bodies, which means that they reduce thermal bridging within the system. The metallic rods are hammered in, which gives the system stability.
The metal core is 8mm wide.
The metal mechanical fixing is used to fix the insulating boards to the substrates. With a plastic rod and metal body, they keep thermal bridging down, which means that the system maintains its insulating qualities. Choose from one of the four sizes, 115, 135 155mm & 175mm, to fit any insulation thickness.
