Adhesive and reinforced mortar for mesh and/or foamed polystyrene and mineral wool. The mortar designed for making the reinforced layer and fixing foamed polystyrene and mineral wool panels in EWIPro’s thermal insulation systems and also for fixing such panels to substrates, supplied as ready-to-use dry mixture of mineral binders, synthetic fibres, mineral fillers and modifying admixtures. When mixed with water, it provides homogenous white putty working material. Once the mortar is set firm and hard, it has excellent water and frost resistance, breathability, hydrophobic properties, strength and high elasticity.
The product is designed for preparing a layer reinforced with glass fabric and fixing panels of foamed polysterene and mineral work in EWIPro: EPS-100, EPS-70, EPS50, EPS20 thermal insulation systems offered by EWISTORE. Insulation panels fixed with the mortar require additional support based on spring pins. Suitable substrate types for insulation panels: ordinary concrete, walls of ceramic and silicate elements, concrete, light-aggregate and cellular concrete with untreated surface, plastered, painted or textured. The mortar helps to eliminate the need for priming prior to skim-coating with silicate-silicon plaster, thus reducing the time and costs of implementing a thermal insulation system. It can also be used to putty facades.
