EWI-210 EPS Adhesive is a mortar designed for fixing panels in EWI Pro EPS thermal insulation systems. It is supplied as ready-to-use dry mixture and, when mixed with water, it forms an adhesive putty. Once dry, it has excellent water and frost resistance, adhesive and elastic properties. Contains reinforcing fibres.
EWI-210 EPS Adhesive is used for mounting EPS boards on substrates as part of external wall insulation systems. The EWI-210 is made up of Portland cement, quartz aggregate, mineral fillers and refining agents. Together, these different elements provide a quick drying, strong adhesive that is perfect for attaching the insulation boards to the substrate.
Please note that EWI-210 cannot be used as the adhesive in the reinforcement layer; it does not have enough flexibility. For the reinforcement layer EWI-220 or EWI-225 need to be used depending on whether you are insulating with EPS or mineral wool.
This product is an adhesive that is designed to attach the EPS boards to the underlying substrate – it can be applied on various types of mineral groundworks: concrete, cement-lime, ceramic, silicate, autoclaved aerated concrete, etc.
