Browse our range of high-quality, long-lasting external renders. From through-coloured thin coat renders to traditional monocouche, we have a wide range of options to suit all tastes. We use thin coat, coloured renders to create our insulated render systems. These renders can also be used on their own to create a standalone render system without the insulation.
Thin coat external wall insulation renders come pre-mixed and pre-coloured in 25kg tubs, ready to apply straight away. You can choose from Acrylic, Mineral, Silicone-Silicate, Silicone and Premium Bio Silicone Renders to create a decorative finish on your property. These external renders are highly customisable, as they are available in a range of grain sizes to achieve different textures, and they can also be tinted to create any shade.
The main benefit of choosing thin coat external wall insulation renders is the flexibility that they offer. The render is applied on top of a reinforced basecoat, in an extremely thin layer (between 1-3mm depending on the grain size). Because of this, the render will resist cracking due to the reinforcement of the basecoat behind it and because it is applied in such a thin layer.
The great thing about thin coat renders is that they offer a variety of advantages. For example, our silicone-based renders offer the advantage of being breathable and self-cleaning, while our Acrylic render is especially impact-resistant. This means that you can choose the right external render for you based on your property and requirements.
While these products are ideal for use with our insulated render systems, we do offer some traditional alternatives such as the Monocouche Scratch Render and the Dash Receiver. These traditional renders cannot be used with external wall insulation render systems, as they are thick coat renders and are purely intended for decorative purposes without the insulating benefits.
If you’re looking to achieve a chalky, sandstone-textured render, then we highly recommend a monocouche render. Enewall Fine Scratch Render is available in 18 natural shades to achieve an aesthetically pleasing finish.
One the other hand, if you’re looking for a very hard-wearing render then we would suggest using Dash Receiver to create a pebbledash finish. This creates an extremely rough-textured effect that is guaranteed to stand the test of time.
If you’re unsure about which render you should go for, or you’re an installer looking for application advice, give our experts a call! We can advise as to the best render for your property, and we can provide specifications for your project.
